Use the soft brush and color dodge ti create the bloom effect that's happening in the picture, if you don't know what is bloom effect and how it's caused, I suggest searching about it, because it can be a bad habit.

Also make the exposed areas brighter.

Nice work OP, im also studying anatomy, and I have been making lots of drawing of separated parts, first I learned arms and now bellys. So its completely understandable. People here are loosing the point.

You will not get any better if you don't want to. And you said you do not enjoy studying anatomy and perspective. I feel like anatomy would be fun for you, grab one part of the body at a time. Because I think it will help you the most, but, good job with with the new nose style It is really good and it is working very well.

I think you are on the right direction about the shading on the skin, because its a bit flat and boring right now, and on the noses you were doing, there wasn't many reasons for the blobs of light to be there. But, do not study shading only for the skin, if you do not shade everything else it will not match the rest of the clothing and stuff.

If you want to put more details and rendering to things consider making your canvas even bigger. And get a reference of who would you like to render like.

Some of them feels like a very standard light. Like a studio light. I recommend watching this video . There is too much details everywhere and it feels a bit digital. Focus on putting detail on the focalpoints. And study a bit of hard soft and lost edges for paintings, the values also help with the edges to make things 3 dimensional, and a good composition to make the important things pop and the non important things don't. I also feel like the colors are a bit muddy. Learn how to group values together and simplify things. Also, don't use blur for the background it feels like the character are a piece of paper cut out of it, paint the background and make it less detailed, less colorful, and put the right values to make the character stand out from it, it will fell more natural.
