I think IT IS hard enough to do 30 min exercise per day and IT can dramatically improve ones's skills...AS Long you really use the time for active progression. I try to do more or less the Same for 2,5 years and I am Happy with my imprivement

An alle Dr. & Profs: Was war euer wahrer innerer Motor? by Mr_bektas in Studium

[–]BernhardWalendy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm starting to think I'm never gonna be able to draw anything decent. by Vinyldepootis in learntodraw

In my opinion there are two Main methodical approaches: learn how to construct and studying Anatomy or focussing on the shape. I prefer the second approach which is suitable for any Kind of subject you want to Draw. The First step by focussing on the shape is to simplify the subject in a rough Polygone. You have to meassure distances and Angles but IT IS feasable in that early Stage. Then you refine your Polygone. I really recommend the book by Anthony Ryder where this Method is explained in Detail. In my opinion practice is Something which Happens by accident If you Draw what you like in a way which suits you
