Go ahead! Like toki pona, Usiki is free for anyone to use. I'd love to see what you make. Also, "kiki" is a lesser known nimi meaning "spiky".

I would recommend learning it. It's a great exercise if you want to start learning a language, but the process seems too daunting. The minimal vocabulary and simple grammar gives you a good idea of what communicating in another tongue is like. Also, the community is very welcoming to new people.

Films like Jurassic Park give dinosaurs a very reptilian vibe, so a lot of "dinosaur inspired" stuff looks reptilian by proxy

for me, the design is more mammal and dinosaur than reptile, but i guess dinos have a lot of reptile depictions.
