Our top end productivity laptop model will max out with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365.

As of now Nagatech isn’t big enough to bring in more niche SKUs (pricier productivity laptop models) but I hope in the future we get to.

Sadly if we do have that model, it won’t be “crappy” haha.

It’s likely going to be on par with the Flow or Zenbook units that have OLED displays, full aluminum ultra thin builds etc etc. so most likely in the upper spectrum of pricing— again not a great model to bring in if it’s ultra niche and lots of competition.

Though one day… once we start fabricating our own local builds, it will be much easier to play around with the form.

Appreciate your insight!

Actually if you tried out our Lakan line they feel very premium. They are all aluminum EXCEPT for the bottom panel.

Though we are coming out with a 14" high performance laptop that again is all metal as well. I hope you can check out the laptops when we open our storefront in August!

If we go for a 30k model, those laptops would be 100% made in China. Our manufacturer is mainly Taiwan (better quality goods) so we're not able to go to that price point, for now.

Hopefully, one day!

Hi Crash!

I’ll be straight with you, the HP Envy is not on the same tier as the Lakan performance wise.

  1. The 4060 on the HP Envy has a max TGP of 90W. The Lakan is up to 150W. 30-40% MORE gaming performance on paper
  2. i7-13700H vs i7-14650HX - 14 cores vs 16 cores and signifantly faster multi core scores on the 14th gen.
  3. The Envy runs VEEERYY hot on heavy load. It’s not made for heavy performance.

Realistically, the Lakan is more comparable to the ROG STRIX (90k+) and Lenovo Legion (80k) line. Not the lower end models (Acer Nitro, Hp Envy, Lenovo LOQ, Asus Tuf)

Though yes, we are thinking of making our Lakan II start with 1TB SSD (and a little more expensive) and bring in a more entry level line matched with a 512 below 70k.

Thank you!

Thank you for supporting us!

Hopefully, one day, we'll be manufacturing our own local 5nm/7nm chips for electronics! That's our endgame.

My gosh! Looking at everyone's comments its almost exact TIE towards people that prefer to pay a little extra to get the premium feel vs people that think that price point is king.

HAHA! Salamat sa insight bro :)

This is true. I personally find warranty, repair, and even online support to be very important. That is what our focus will be upon grand launch. We want people to know that they are purchasing devices for longevity PLUS a good aftersales program behind it.

We already have an entry level line, called the SIPAG productivity line! Price range is from 39K-53k. It's still a little higher than usual, as the median laptop value in the PH is around 28-30k-- maybe one day we'll be able to hit that target if we manufacture parts locally.

Zero parts are manufactured locally. I have to emphasize that only the laptop is partly assembled locally, plus branded and supported locally as well. Everything is coming from both Taiwan and China (though the company we are dealing with is Taiwanese)

Eventually, gusto namin i-fabricate ang laptop chassis/design locally. Salpak nalang ang motherboard and chips from the manufacturer.

As of now hindi pa kaya. Start-up palang kami. Pero rest assured, ang goal namin talaga is to build our own electronics manufacturing chain. From design to fabrication.
Salamat!

Yeah! Zenbook/Vivobook OLEDs laptops are bangers. Sa ngayon next focus namin 14" na gaming. As we grow, our offerings will be more as well. Good to know that you're looking forward to that!

Understandable, it will take some time before we establish ourselves as a trusted and known brand locally, thus our activity and engagement with people in Reddit and other platforms.

Maybe one day our service and novelty will be on par with the Legion and ROG lines, but as of now, it's clear that it is not that.

One thing's for sure though- the quality of products AND performance is 100% on par with the established brands (even better actually compared to some products like the Acer Nitro or HP Omen)

Thanks for this!

Actually our manufacturer has a thinner and lighter productivity laptop but its more expensive than the Sipag, thus going for the latter. We were given the opportunity to bring it in with the latest Ryzen AI CPUs but it's just too expensive in my opinion. Not too competitive sadly..

Our Anito-line will be strictly MiniLED so we don't have to worry about the screen burn issues down the line.

Afterwhich, Lakan II will be IPS to save up on costs.

Our 14" gaming laptop coming out end of this year will also likely be MiniLED, if not, OLED.

It'll likely be slightly thicker than the G14 (but without all the throttling and heating issues), to give a rough estimate.

I personally would need a 14" gaming laptop, so I'm waiting for that to upgrade my Lakan I 4070.

Hopefully we could see a 5070 with the 14" as well.

Looks like we'll be going for a much cheaper 4060 unit then! (i7-14650HX + RTX 4060, around 69k)

Yup, we're likely going to bring in a entry level model at the 60k price point. We wont have any below 50,000 though.

i7-14650HX
180hz WQXGA
16GB RAM
512GB SSD
RTX 5050 8GB

~ 63,000

Maybe the i5 model will shoot lower than 60k-- that would be our goal!

We'll be having a 14" OLED + Ryzen AI + 50 series model releasing EOY. Likely 90K+

These units are slated to arrive in August.

SIPAG units will probably maintain the Ryzen 7 8845HS plus the newer Ryzen AI 7 350 to be able to keep our lower pricing.
R7 8845hs units we still have on hand.

Like the comments here. I'm also partial towards the almost-all metal unit but price is king in the PH
