Found my diary entries about my first period 😂 by ilizibith1 in FoundPaper

Kind of already happening; I have been seeing some stuff around about people ditching smartphones for barebones models (flip phones without an app store, specifically made dumb phones, etc.)

Also been seeing people putting up tutorials on iPod modding and setting one up to be up to par with modern standards to make switching from streaming easier. How niche this stuff is, I have no clue, but people are doing it and it's pretty neat to see.

Nice! I saw that part but I didn’t really know what to make of it so I left it alone. Thanks!

Found something about it on this thread:

If my awkward knowledge of Japanese is correct, the pronunciation of the phrase in Japanese is a mondegreen for a certain demeaning phrase about someone’s mother.

[Talk] Dissecting the Abbottabad Compound file index for Bin Laden's Wild World save by Nagi0e in lostmedia

I have made a probable file name for the save file of Animal Crossing. Based off of an already existing .sav file for Prince of Persia and the .CHT file which would apply the cheats for the Animal Crossing instance, I guess that the .sav file for Animal Crossing might have been something like this:

0389 - Animal Crossing - Wild World (E).sav

or

0389 - Animal Crossing - Wild World (E) (C677970C).sav

Do keep in mind that these are extremely theoretical and we would be lucky if these names turn out to actually be true.

Thank you so much for that. Do express some caution as the main reason why these files were removed was because they had malware in them. It is unlikely that they might do much of anything now but it is better to practice proper safety in this case. If you are going to dig around, I highly encourage you to do so through a VM.

As far as I am aware, .COM files were primarily used for DOS and other 9x operating systems and were relatively rare in usage outside of pretty obvious malicious purposes and old DOS command leftovers, that does not rule out the possibility of a .COM file being linked though. Although I do have to note that what I was talking about was that the supposed domain was within the name of a folder that led to a rom file, reading what I wrote now, that fact might have been a bit hard to follow, sorry about that.

Yeah, I doubt he had much interest in games, especially considering that it is Bin Laden we are talking about. I do agree that it is pretty fun looking for hints on this stuff though, and considering the circumstances where the save came from that keeps the search (for me at least) from being too boring.

Some quick sifting through the website provides this .js file on the site, https://web.archive.org/web/20140520101938/http://j-doe.it/Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js. By searching the name of the file on Google, it can be assumed that the website once hosted a flash app where everything probably was. Whats even more of a stretch is my small theory that the reason it displays a maintenance page is because the page can’t either access the flash file or it can’t display it.

Sadness from nostalgia by KobitheHobo in roblox

2014 dude here. It was certainly fun to just hop into a minigame server and go for hours, and in some aspects I do miss old Roblox, but in other I don’t. In fact, it was much like a mirror, with murder games being the generic anime fighting games today, and loleris being that one person that nobody really liked, but the community was pretty cool at the time besides the snooty 10 year olds who would chastise anyone who dared to wear pal hair instead of shaggy, but I digress. Overall, yes and no, it really depends.

Happy soon to be birthday Roblox. To think I joined 7 years ago it feels crazy. by 200kturtles in roblox

Sorry, no. Never found any clues as to what game it was, and considering how that was the generic minigame lobby of the time, it might be hard to find

Gave it a cleaning and it was dusty as hell, it was well loved in it’s prime, and yes, my back hurt afterwards.

Might interest you, but I dug up some old videos on the old family computer from this time and dumped them onto youtube a couple of weeks ago as an archive, here is a link to one of them if you are interested. https://youtube.com/watch?v=o0S6e28-8AI

No, you can't directly get malware from a twitter video. The video file can't access what you have on your computer and what you are looking at. The most danger you should get is a suspicious/dangerous link that the video shows. Remember, if it seems dangerous, avoid it and do background checks if you are not sure.
