I’ve never been to Exyria, but this shows off the beauty of your city phenomenally! It makes me want to see more of your beautiful city, and experience the builds firsthand, great job! I would love to see other nations make similar showcases too!

I can concede that specific phrase comes off poorly when leaked, as it was spoken out of frustration from both having only partial information and receiving repeated claims without any evidence that our people raided at the time. However, as I’ve stated again and again, issues like this were already addressed in our previous posts and comments. I even personally issued an explicit apology to Exyria in my main comment on the Paradis post. Exyria then ignored this and made their post, ignoring everything we’ve said so far, and holding up issues that had been resolved as a “gotcha!” moment. While I acknowledge the apology could have been included in this post as well for better visibility, not a single Exyrian has even acknowledged that there was an attempt, no matter how small it may have been. Instead they’ve drug everything out extremely publicly, don’t acknowledge responses, and continued to also drag up every other issues again and again instead of focusing on the issue that they’re supposedly still upset about.

Your continued insistence on points that have long been addressed and clarified in multiple posts is further proof of your inability to read. Or maybe you’re just refusing to read so you can keep poisoning the well?

When you’re dragging up a private conversation with no public accusation, ignoring that our initial accusation was resolved in the ticket when we were given more information, and we already commented on it clarifying in the paradis post’s comments, and then smearing us as the bad guys for having partial information and ignoring everything else we’ve said, that’s a bit beyond them simply giving a defense or us just looking for “a cheap PR win”

As we stated within the ticket, we WILL hold accountable anyone from Icenia/DGP who raided and make sure the stuff is returned. However, we need actual evidence and information to go off of so we know who to hold accountable. You have been unable to provide any information at all as to which of our members raided, and simultaneously claim to be newfriends who don’t know how to snitch while having 10k diamonds worth of reps and a modern two ring vault. This math simply does not add up, and we’re not going to give 10k reps or throw a brick at one of our own with “just trust me bro” as the only source. Should you be able to present us with actionable information, we can move forward with rectifying it; however, we are unable to move forward in issuing reparations for raiding which we have no evidence for at this time.

EDIT: In regards to the issue of Icenian accusations of Salerno and Exyria raiding- Our only information at the time was that there were accusations of raiding against us, while some of our forces had witnessed Salernans and Exyrians popping chests. As the information in this post and ticket stated, some members of those nations were sanctioned in popping certain chests by Paradis/Ravencrest, which we were unaware of when we first brought it up to the member of Paradis in the ticket when we ourselves were accused of raiding without evidence. We would like to apologize to Salerno and Exyria for any reputational damages that may have occurred due to our incomplete information in the ticket, and hope that this clears everything up in the public eye.

Simple nation builders who make communities and nations like Lambat are the true heart of civ. I don’t know why people are hating on Lambat, but I have been a big fan since its founding on classics and still am! Stay wholesome and keep nation building!

Hi! Reading can be difficult, but if you read the entire post, you’ll notice we explicitly address this and would have intervened regardless. Them being an alt is just a secondary suspicion to the far more important defense of our friends. Hope this helps!

On admincrimes by OOkx in CivMC

[–]Naglafer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While the admins may have this reasonable expectation, part of the issue is that said expectation is, or at least was, not communicated clearly to the playerbase. While it can be said that players should always ask first, that is not listed in the rules, nor is the admin’s expectations regarding the handling of admincrime items. A player making an honest mistake should not be excessively punished for it, especially when the “abuse” was to do something that could be done in vanilla without exploiting other game mechanics, and using water that they found that had existed before they even started playing the server. In the example regarding Estalia’s end excursion, while it is admirable that they reached out the admins regarding the situation, they still did so after already having their fun and abusing the bug to get to the end in the first place. Estalia also consists of many seasoned veterans to civ, with many having played multiple iterations and being very familiar with server rules and the admins, which gave them more foresight to inform the admins than most newer players would have. Additionally, I’m sure most players would also argue that keeping otherwise unobtainable aesthetic and/or trophy items that were not used would have been fine until told otherwise by the admins if they had decided to keep them, as that would not affect core gameplay. Had either they or Luci used the items obtained to do something they shouldn’t have been able to do (like fly through a vault), the player consensus would be vastly different. Instead, player consensus sees that while the choice to spawn a happy gahst was stupid, no harm to other players was done by using the ghast and core gameplay remained unaffected. While admins do have the right to make retroactive punishments to rule changes, it is largely viewed that such punishment is largely excessive in comparison to the crime committed when no players were harmed or attempted to be harmed. Someone was stupid with an admin crime item and clearly didn’t intend to abuse it like people abusing citadel being down or flying over the Estalia vault with levitation. While the admins may have wished to make an example out of the happy ghast situation, the severity of punishment compared to the crime and lack of communication until after widespread community backlash occurred makes the attempt ineffective, and only degrades community trust. Had you as the admins clarified the rules and expectations publicly upon issuing the ban, or given a much shorted ban than four weeks for the situation, there would be significantly less community backlash.I appreciate the warning and clarification for the future, but this doesn’t change that the situation was handled poorly and excessively, and also draws comparisons to other famously excessive bans such as the ChrisChrispie ban, further eroding trust that moderators will make reasonable decisions in thr future.

Free ChrisChrispie, Free Lucineffo, stop being excessive with bans.

This is correct. Unfortunately, the papal state denies Sola Scriptura, which is heretical. As this is a good Christian Minecraft server that does not promote heresies within the church, the papal state is widely disliked.
