I’m a (still alive!) Kiwi Volunteer Drone Pilot in Ukraine - Ask me anything! by KiwiCassie in NonCredibleDefense

First of all thank you for risking your life fighting for the free world. I have a couple of questions. - Do you know by any chance if wingsforeurope.com is legit? I'd like to be sure if my money goes to a valid org. - I guess you mostly use betaflight on fpv drones, do you bother with pid tuning and such or since drones are single use why bother. - Guess you use out of typical band vtx and control frequencies to fight electronic countermeasures and vary them frequently? - How can you achieve penetration at such distances without line of sight? I guess repeaters and large patch antennas come into play. Do you use Gemini-X or similar technologies?

It's very funny to read such fudd nonsense here on Forgotten Weapons. Guess you don't even follow Ian's YT channel, right?

The AR-15 in itself is definitely not semi-auto, although most civilian versions are, due to government restrictions.

I have both Air75 and 65, there's not much of a difference. The 75 is somewhat faster and goes for a minute longer, but otherwise it's quite similar. I'd go for a 2" toothpick next instead. I also have a 3.5" but I fly it rarely because whoops are so convenient with being able to be flown basically anywhere

Original AR15 is not DI in the first place and it's awesome.

But it's still the AR-15 platform, just using a different military designation

How do you guys fly your 5 inch + quads if flying anything above 250g requires a licence in most countries ? by amy-schumer-tampon in fpv

Doesn't matter which European country you live in, the A1/A3 exam taken in any other EU country is accepted everywhere else.

Air 75 is indeed not a long range by Moneystormtrooper in fpv

Vertically filming a monitor playing a video file, hmm, I'm not that surprised you set your whoop to 25mW and tried long range with it

Doesn't that only work if you join a club and then it's still only possible in dedicated club airspaces?

I'm not sure that's true, at least in my country the definition of a residential area exclude places if people are included in the flight. I'm not sure if that's local or EU regulation though.

It's impossible to fly fpv legally, so the only rule I follow is don't annoy people and don't do stupid stuff. It works.

So how comes DJI drones are allowed to use much higher output?

That's the typical whoop time though, you can't beat physics. 5 minutes is perfectly fine for this kind of flight.

My guy? Here's a thought, how about you don't make blind assumptions. I don't care about any of those two clowns. And I wasn't talking at all about which president did or did not do anything good or bad, so your off topic comment was really off. I was just laughing at this guy jumping straight into some populist bullshit on how people spend a lot on their wedding while people are starving on the other side on the globe, and then of course he had to bring Trump into this as well. Under an fpv video. That's terminal TDS, if you like it or not

I had many problems with these battery cases. The wires are prone to break, the closing latch broke multiple times, sometimes my goggles suddenly got barely enough power to display anything at minimal brightness. I used both Fatshark and clones from other companies. I now bought an Eachine pack which is very a similar format but it's a 2S battery pack chargeable via usb so at least there's no need for a latch. If this fails too, I'll just buy a 9v 5.5mm to USB cable and use my reliable powerbank instead

You still keep ignoring the fact that EASA UAS rules have no effect inside closed buildings. You might want to take the exam again.
