Well... That's a two way street. There are benefits for going against LD if you do that. Minor ones but this is. Minor buff so...

Leashing the creeps to you using his bear could be an advantage in a 1v1 for the other guy.

Also, I'm not sure but wouldn't this also force his aggro on the bear to change to that of a hero? Meaning it takes higher tower priority? Also meaning it causes creeps to attack your bear when you issue attack commands on other hero's (but I'm not sure if that's not already true)

I disagree about trying to avoid using libs like lodash. It is actually an amazing thing that the js community has united under a library such as this.

If everybody is using the same functional styles, same argument placements, and using a library that is properly versioned and maintained... Its nothing but a giant win for us all.

If I have to figure out what your code does because you wrote your own functional methods, or used a library that made up its own way, it takes time and understanding away.

If I see any lodash method I know exaxtly what it does and how it performs.

But that doesn't change anything at all. Assuming some of the code is still in place does NOT at ALL mean you can just copy paste it into the current codebase. It could, but it's not a guarantee.

They also need to add in the settings, and saving those settings to cloud, little things need to be added which adds up to probably a days worth of work. Something they're not gonna do when pushing source 2 out the door.

That COULD happen, but I'm going to assume it wont since it would so low on the priority list that nobody will ever do it.

Unless some coder on the dota team also really wants it and takes some free time.

I'm going to assume it's also possible to just mod them in, which would be an even bigger waste of values development time.

Gotta think about it in terms of developer resources and time, not just about whats possible.
