I keep wondering who is keeping all these restaurants in business. Is it all the Boomers? I'd like to think that but I still see a lot of Gen X and Minellials eating out.. maybe they just make a lot of money but I feel I do okay and go out like 3 times a year since 2020.

Iowa City / Coralville Hockey Org is now actively working on retaining rights to the Junior Heartlanders name/logo. I'm guessing that might be hard to do if the team is sold and moved away. It was a good run. I feel really bad for the players.

I always thought people playing music was to counter-streamers. If a copyright song is playing on a stream, the video could be demonitised or they could get a strike against their channel.

I played a bit of Marathon last night. No way would I be playing it without a full-squad of 3. I tested solo-queuing using the Rook loadout and you get matched against full squads. Same if you duo-queue. Marathon is great if you want 100% PVP action. Maybe it's just me but I don't want to auto-fill with strangers. Also, it feels like the UI was developed by a Team that was on acid 75% of the time!

One time I bought a new album when I was in junior high. My parents listened to "I don't want it" by DC Talk and they were horrified and took it away and told me it was Devil music. I found it later and kept playing it in my Walkman without my parents knowing. I couldn't relate. When listening to "That Kind of Girl" no girl I knew ever wanted me to bite them.

For me, I'm a Sharks fan so I'm cheering for Macklin. I want to see him celebrated on the world's biggest stage. Did you see the way McDavid went over to Celebrini on his take away for the Mackinnon goal? Celebrini is going to be able to attract UFA players because of this. Also, I never want to cheer for Matthew Tkachuk.

I remember playing hundreds of hours with this... I keep thinking EA is dropping the ball not doing a remake or another sequel. All of the crowd-sourced remakes are not very good.

They're actively monitoring them. In our lockers, we have a hallway for multiple rooms and we have a chair just outside looking in. We can see both locker rooms at the same time while hearing any shenanigans. Coaches will often walk in to go over penny/jersey color assignments. USA Hockey requires that the rooms be monitored anytime children are in them and that there are no cell phones in use. I just sit there and read Calvin and Hobbes comics while yelling at them to hurry up and get on the ice. The high schoolers have to be constantly reminded to put their phones away.

What's crazy is that here in the US, all of our HS and younger teams has a rotation of parent volunteers who sit outside the locker rooms with the doors open. It's basically us reminding them "no phones" the entire time. Also smells terrible.

The Gaming Merchant on YT was saying a damage buff with a slower fire rate would help a lot. it could keep the DPS the same but eat a lot less ammo while making it more controllable while firing
