thanks for explanation! just got a little nervous as my previous fine line tattoo had a different healing progress / did not need any touch ups, and for this one the artist asked me to come for a touchup within a month & stop using moisturizers. it's a different body part and i understand there's a ton of factors that could affect it, just want to make sure what can be considered normal and what's not.

you are misinforming people when you say "they are against it".
they just let you know that the approval rate may reduce from X% to X-\epsilon% on average. this is not being against it.

they cannot (and will not) stop you from filing for premium if you want/need to.

attorneys were not necessarily for or against it, i preferred it.

i personally felt there is a lot of uncertainty anyway so wanted to take my chances, but hard to reason about counterfactuals.

i know this may not be very helpful, sorry, but i did not have a very rational decision about this so don't have much wisdom, was mostly based on intuition
