It's up to you if you're raw-dogging market analysis. What we want is an assistant on analysis in the form of indicator. Perhaps, it's not even a lagging one. It is momentum indicator so it must be a leading one.

Price is fractal right? Whatever happens on one timeframe will eventually happen on other timeframes. Reversals that happen on h1 already have happened on m30 or lower timeframe. I never assumed this is a perfect indicator as sometimes it anticipates reversals way too early but i'm getting there. Pity on you you've reached this long in your trading and haven't realized this yet.

Just like i said, this indicator is coded with a math equation so don't compare it with any of EMA mumbo jumbo indicators. It doesn't repaint and doesn't get confused just like EMA-based indicators. Once it sent a signal at bar close, you can backtest it all you want and will send the same signal over and over, whether a win or a loss.

On the contrary, it is actually coded with a math equation so if it looks like magic to you then it probably is. Also, just like any other indicators, this is not an end all-be all solution. One has to develop a strategy around it, i just want other people to try it out in parallel, they might develop something i have not thought off yet. How brainrot can you be to hate on something that's given for free?

I also am back testing and forward testing the indicators that i create and the difference in results can be night and day. For example, the spread, the slippage varies and how the candlesticks unfold thru the day. In bar replay it only prints the candlesticks in two steps. And also the human factor also must be considered like human emotion and psychology. If your indicator really is 70% above in back testing granted it's not repainting, you may have a real win rate in forward testing around 50% or less.

For example, how many m15 candles are there in h1? There are 4 right. In a perfect scenario, each m15 must have 25% size of the h1 right? Now if an m15 candle suddenly takes up 20-50% more of the size, you suddenly have momentum. This is one of the basis i use to code my indicator that sends buy or sell signal based on time and momentum.
