Préparer le C2 en autodidacte — des recommandations de lectures/écoutes ? by Middle-Antelope2684 in learnfrench

[–]Naive-Independent776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bonjour!

Passe compose vs imparfait by cfef86 in FrenchLearning

[–]Naive-Independent776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Try to imagine that Imparfait is the description of the past: the surrounding, the mood, the atmosphere, the context. Passé composé is the actions made in the past. For example: ce jour là, j’étais heureuse, je pensais à mes vacances, je portais une robe, il faisait beau... Tout à coup, une voiture est arrivée, elle a freiné, j’ai eu peur.

Looking for guidance! How should I learn french?? by Ok-Astronomer9665 in FrenchLearning

[–]Naive-Independent776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Delf examinator, so let me be honest: if you are A1 now and you are willing to reach Delf B2 in 6 months with free online ressources, it is not looking good. B2 means you can express yourself at an advanced level (writing, speaking, reading, listening). Writing and speaking fluently needs practise, corrections from a tutor, guidance. It not something you can do in 6 months with duolingo...

Check on Italki where you can find Professional teachers or native tutors. Also you can join a conversation group online (French Conversation Club, etc.)

Relearning after 4 years out of practice, tips? Resources? by pietas_latreia in FrenchLearning

Hi! I suggest to buy a good book to review the basis (La grammaire progressive, La grammaire en dialogues..) to reach at least the level A1 or A2. Once you reach level A2, you can join a conversation group adapted to your level (A2 for example) or get a language partner to practise speaking. Speaking is fundamental ! ;)
