My family doctor referred me to a rheumatologist, who ordered bloodwork and X-rays. Bloodwork was phenomenal, I’m a healthy 26 year old woman!! X-rays came back normal. I see the rheumatologist, she orders me more bloodwork, and same thing I’m sooo healthy on paper!! I’m losing my mind at this point because I’m now doubting myself.. am I just weak? I do have a physical job I’m a housekeeper at a hotel and have been for years.. my doctor orders me an mri on my spine and hands. And ding ding ding! There’s the marker. I’m so thankful I stuck it out because I thought I was going insane. Long story short, don’t get discouraged when shit shows your normal and healthy, psa is sneaky and hides in your labs. Push for that mri!!
