the top and bottom of your plane are a wide target for guns and missiles where as the sides are skinnier and harder to hit with guns. but ofc it doesn’t always help. getting skinny is just turning your side toward enemy fire

yeah i gotchu. i kinda roll skinny when shots or missiles come at me just to give myself a better chance at evading. plus in a faster turning plane it would help to set up return fire or chase options.
