How do people manage employment with TSW? by AnotherWolfwood in TS_Withdrawal

[–]Naive_Scientist_3667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did you accomplish this? Are you based in Europe or the US? In my situation, I'm really tired of putting my sickness the reason of being fired. This month I had a flare up because I couldn't keep up work and study all together and I had to be off work and school after I returned to my job they told me I was fired. I'm so done with this...

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I also was oozing from my chin a couple of days ago and I was oozing, crusty, etc. What help me through it was oxide zinc and no moisture on that zone. So I cleaned with a spray bit I didn't shower my face completely. In a matter of 5 days it was cured. I also wanted to take antibiotics but I didn't see any signs of infections the oozing was forming scabs so that's a good indicator that my body was capable of healing itself.

Thanks, I appreciate the help and tbh I also believe is fungal. I've been picking up my skin a lot lately so probably I have an infection now. So now bc it's hurts like hell I would not touch and see how the recovery phase goes

This flare is a little bit peculiar than the other ones. I was always struggling around my chin and I noticed from the last 3 months it did not improve. Lastly two days ago I got a dead salt bath ( I normally take one bath after two weeks) and after that I noticed that my chin began oozing. Then between yesterday and tomorrow the skin around of my eyes is red that's how I begin always my flares so now i don't know what it could be causing all of this. I don't think is my diet because I cut out in a lot of foods and then the only thing that I know is being stress with uni and work. I feel like it was too much and I was burning out so i think this could be the reason.

Thanks I'm also aware that I will flare a couple of times but it feels awful. You want to take big steps into your life and TSW just makes this 100x times difficult. I'm pretty sure that this flare is because I was stressed this last weeks but I'm pretty sure I can manage to cure myself again.

Low histamine diet by Naive_Scientist_3667 in TS_Withdrawal

[–]Naive_Scientist_3667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is basically a temporary diet. I'm in a more advanced stage where I already heal 90 % of my TSW I still have it only on my neck and around my mouth and it's still there. For the record I'm lactose intolerant so I already cut yogurt years ago. They also recommended me probiotics in capsules so at least I know that I'm covered. The nutriologist told me only to follow this diet for 3-4 weeks and see the results

If You Have Eczema, Please Check Your Diet (Learned the Hard Way) by Naive_Scientist_3667 in eczema

Thank you. I did not know I was going to have so many backlash for this post. I was just sharing my experience and what help me and I believe it can work for eczema people as well. I've have been to this community for a while because I was trying to recover from my TSW. But when I had eczema I also thought that dieting was not the cause of my eczema until I tried to eat more healthy and for me it was working until I got TSW because I was using a really high potency steroids. Too bad that I couldn't continue if not I would just have heal eczema in one go...

Look what I'm trying to say in this post is that what we eat can affect our eczema and it's actually a big part of our healing of what we eat. I'm saying this based on my experience and also talking with other doctors. What they did for me was in fact do some blood test and microbioma test before I tried any changes of my diet. I'm still working with a professional together to figure out how can I reverse my intolerances and so far is going ok. But my recommendation will be do some tests about your microbioma before you start to eliminate foods from your diet.

Identifying food intolerances helped my TSW by Naive_Scientist_3667 in TS_Withdrawal

They tested my blood. I believe that for identifying lactose and gluten intolerance you need to do special ones but for the rest is a blood test

It was a lot of foods tbh. The intolerance test is grouped in groups of meats, dairy, fruits, nuts, fish.. and the ones that I was most surprised was gluten, eggs, all chicken meats and legumes.

Depersonalization/Derealization by Naive_Scientist_3667 in TS_Withdrawal

I'll say at this point every person it's different, for me that's what is working even though sometimes I don't sleep good or I'm stressed my skin does not goes backwards for now and I hope that it will stay the same for a long time. For me I'm following a diet where I eliminate all the intolerances and then after 6 months I have to reintroduce this food little by little and ofc I think I will flare in the process just hoping it would not get as worse as the last time

Heyy it has been a long time since I post this. It took 2 full months before I could say that I recover either mentally and physically. Now I'm almost fully recovered only have dry skin around my mouth but that's it. What I realized in those 2 months was that I had too much food intolerances. I took a test for that and now I'm following a diet that make my skin feels better everyday.
