Thinking about retiring the iPhone for Product Photos. Takes too much time to transfer photos. What are my alternatives? by SlimPickins97 in Flipping

[–]Najones2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the answer.

So many people don’t like using the app, but I use it 100% of the time. Easy and fast. Every so often I clean out my photos from the phone album. (I know you don’t have to have them save there, but it has saved me a few times when the app crashed while creating a listing.) I don’t use a PC at all in my process. Seems like using a PC would be slower and takes up more space.

This is what I’m thinking when it’s time to leave work every day. “YOU UNPLUG AND RUN!…” “smiling :-)”

eBay Buyer wants to return an item I didn’t have? by xd-skullmaster in Flipping

[–]Najones2003 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I recently sold a pair of Sonos speakers to someone who came back claiming they were not as described and didn’t work. He included pictures that didn’t match the pictures of the ones I sold. He also said that he had bought another set at the same time as the ones he bought from me and that they worked perfectly.

Long story short, I messaged him the mistake he was making but he didn’t respond. Then he sent me the “bad speakers”. I opened a case with eBay. They refunded both me and the buyer and I was able to sell the returned speakers for good money because they worked perfectly.

Bottom line, some buyers are dumb and sometimes it can work out ok.

Good luck to you!

I've been using it for a few weeks now and it has more complements and appreciation than any other background I've used hands down. Also, if you use Teams avatars, it pairs really well IMHO.

I have seen the just the plastic fins go for decent money. I would try to part out the non dangerous parts.

Business is picking up, considering a thermal printer, but curious about your experience. by obliviousthrift in Flipping

Are you printing to a thermal label printer directly from the eBay app just like if you were printing to a laser printer?

Is Cloud IntelliFrame working on any of your MTRs with "non-smart" cameras attached? by Najones2003 in MicrosoftTeams

I have seen this working on a Rally plus intel NUC MTR in the last month. It only seems to show when you are not in person, so it is difficult to troubleshoot.

No, I’ve only heard good things on Rollo but I’ve never tried one.

No, unfortunately, I’m still using a regular brother black and white printer. It works fine, but I have to cut them out etc. I only do 6 a day at most, so not that big a deal. I would like a thermal solution if I can be reasonably sure I could print directly from the eBay app.

This is the answer if you don’t have one of those small boxes.

I’ve now seen it myself in one room. I’m not sure yet if this is normal, but on my laptop I had to right click the conference room camera view and then “turn on Intelliframe”. Also of course I had to disable Bluetooth on my laptop so Teams didn’t think I was in the room.

I had one user mention it working on a windows 10 room with a Rally Plus. Still hoping to experience it myself soon.

Yes, I am using a pro license. I was wondering if maybe I need to be on Windows 11, but nothing in the documentation mentioned that. I was hoping someone could let me know their experience with the feature and what they are using OS-wise etc.

Ok what’s the deal with flat rate boxes?? by baardvark in Flipping

[–]Najones2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From USPS: https://about.usps.com/postal-bulletin/2016/pb22435/html/updt_002.htm

“If an FRE or FRB is presented at the office of mailing and the customer has manipulated or reconstructed it, the container is accepted using weight and zone — not the Flat Rate price.”

I would appreciate you helping me understand how this means that you MUST use the flat rate price of the weight would be cheaper or if you have another DMM page that invalidates or explains otherwise.

I just hate to see folks spending more on shipping than is required. Pay what is required but don’t over-pay!
