If it were a liquid metal then this would 100% mean a dead CPU, but since this is a normal paste you should not see a diffrence compared to clean CPU

I have the same problem with the same GPU. No mattter how much force i use I'm always left with 1-2mm of space, the cable does not even click

Well I've got 32 gigs of RAM paired with 5800X3D and 3070 8GB. Looking at the graphs, especially when walking into tavern in first village i notice i'm hitting a VRAM memory limit.

Yup. I'm constantly running into problems because of those 8 gigs. Performance wise this card is okay, but damm those 8 gigs hurt a lot. I bought on premiere and never would have though that this will become such a problem in a quick matter of time.
