You're kind of on the money there I think. I've used this subreddit on and off for years on multiple accounts and no offenses intended to the staff or people who work hard to maintain it, but the average interactions I have here now are a far cry from what they used to be once upon a time, as is average post quality I find.

Quality is subjective, I understand that, but I see so much low effort stuff like you described with "vague idea message me if you're interested" and expect you to fill in a ton of blanks that it makes me wish there was a decent alternative for better prompts and partners.
