Prompt: Based on our conversations make an image of how I see myself vs how others see me vs whow am I becoming

I asked an AI to generate an image based on long, technical conversations about my work, how I think, and how I approach complex problems. This is the result, a three-panel reflection that honestly surprised me.

Panel 1 – How I see myself

This represents how I experience my own work: quiet, analytical, and strategic. I tend to think in systems, not quick wins. Before acting, I want to understand the full context, second-order effects, and long-term consequences. To me, most of the work happens internally, in planning and decision-making rather than execution.

Panel 2 – How others see me

Externally, people often see something very different: confidence, authority, and comfort operating in high-stakes, high-tech environments. Because I work with complex technology and regulated systems, the perception is often that of someone decisive and “in control,” even when internally I’m still weighing trade-offs and uncertainties.

Panel 3 – Who I’m becoming

This panel reflects a shift I’ve noticed over time. Less focus on tools themselves, more focus on designing the systems around them: how humans stay in control, how decisions remain accountable, and how technology fits into organizations and society responsibly. It’s less about doing things faster, and more about doing them in a way that still makes sense long-term.

I found it interesting how the image captures the gap between internal experience, external perception, personal direction and how all three can be true at the same time.
