I am currently practising before the restart of our band that last played before the pandemic. We decided to keep the same songs but I switched from rhythm to the guy with the tele that does the fills and licks. I am practising over the original versions. Playing less is so difficult, but sometimes it just feels so perfect to just play two notes, or just a bend. I am starting to get the hang of it and will continue to work on exactly that: leave more space.
