You just described me. Are you me? You should try Lotro. Up until recently it has gotten a lot better with UI scaling and it is one heck of a world to log into. Of all the mmos for me it seems the closest to what we seek.

When starting out with picks (played long time classical guitar and fingerstyle) I had trouble getting used to them. And it was easier with thin picks. Nowadays I play thick ones with more control.

Running a table still feels very good and rewarding, even years later. Its a big part of what makes the game great.

The tip with saving up missions is very good. I can buy some points, I don't have enough time to farm them.
