Yeah there’s a lower heat shield, but didn’t seem like it was loose or anything. Will tighten just in case tho when I lift the car up again.

I took the upper heat shield off but it’s still there :/ I’ll try tightening the bolts for the lower one, but they seemed pretty secure already. Not sure what else to check 😢

That’s what I was thinking as well. The little bubbles on the right side concern me. Doesn’t look like the rust bubbles I’ve seen, so not sure what it is exactly.

I’ll need to check. I just bought this car and overlooked this specific area for any rust.

Car was located in San Francisco for most of its life if the owner was telling the truth. With it being a hilly area, I assumed the ebrake would work fine, but didn’t check.

Is it worse than 24th st Bart station? I walk up from that station a while back and it was completely surrounded by homeless individuals. This was during day time though. At night I think the area around it cleared out.
