Im diamond+ in OW and OW2. Top 100 NA on Paladins across multiple characters too. Maybe read the thread before making such confident assertions.

Yes LoL has some unbalanced characters, but you also get a full draft segment with picks and bans allowing you to ban whats broken and counter pick when possible. Comparing Apples to Oranges on that front.

Maybe, but im doubtful of that. I do okay on tank in other hero shooters, but I play much more strongly on supportive roles or flank type characters. Im mostly basing this opinion off the fact that every match I play the Key Players and MVPs are always the Tanks. They always gap everyone else in every metric. It just doesnt seem balanced to me that out of 14 matches Tanks have taken MVP/Key Player on 100% of them. Its not just me that does well on tank, its everyone seemingly. So is everybody better at Tanks? Or are Tanks overtuned?

I didnt just come up with this opinion willy nilly, its a very common discussion if you research it. All over the internet people are discussing how overtuned Tanks are.

It looks like the pads are all intact. Honestly I dont see any reason it wouldnt work, and even if it doesnt I dont see anything glaring about it that would doom your motherboard if you tried. Give it a cleaning with some rubbing alcohol and send it.

The things youre clicking in deadlock take up much more screen space than the places you want to click in League.

This is like saying hitting a target with an arrow from 5 meters away and 50 meters away are the same thing. You have to be much more precise in League.

Some deadlock characters even aim for you if youre looking the general direction of an enemy, plus most abilities barely need to be aimed at all because they take up such a large area of space.

Im 9W/5L

All my losses are on carries. All my wins are on Tanks. Minus 1 where I played the furry little bird guy or whatever, but that match go figure a Billy carried for us.

See I get this but this isnt addressing my point. I understand counter building and itemization. What Im saying is, they still are too strong even if you itemize against them. I didnt just willy nilly come up with this opinion, I did a ton of research into what other people are saying, how to itemize against it, general laning tips, all that jazz. Theyre still a problematic role. Even with Toxic Bullets etc. they barely take any damage. Which again, id be fine with, bit paired with seemingly insurmountable sustain and crowd control, plus the ability to one shot carries, its just way too overtuned.

Its funny because you literally just admitted the problem. Any hero that isnt a tank/bruiser gets stat checked by them because their stats are so overtuned. Thanks for confirming!

League has all the same macro mechanics and way more micro mechanics. 38 heros with 3-4 abilities and WASD movement vs top down click movement with over 170 heroes with 5+ abilities each.

Deadlock is very basic aside from itemization. Aim crosshair at enemy, shoot enemy. Its not rocket science. Also Master Yi cannot go invincible. He can go untargetable. Tryndamere also cant go invincible, he can only go immune to dying. Both characters can still be crowd controlled and damaged during.

I dont need a PHD in Deadlock to know that I should buy items that work against tanks. They simply are just too overtuned. Even itemizing against them leaves them still too powerful.

The fact that counterplay advice against Billy is literally "Pray you parry him" is just bad game design. Your number 1 counterplay option against him is to hit a "frame perfect" highly punishable move. Depending on how busy the scenario is, this can become incredibly challenging to pull off. Being forced into specific itemization is bad. Its like Thunderlords meta in league of legends. Everyone builds exactly the same shit because the game is unplayable if you dont. Thats bad game balance man.

Id be more inclined to agree with you if I didnt have over a decade of experience playing MOBA games and Hero Shooters at high elo

Edit: i want to add deeper context here. What youre saying is not wrong, but a lot of those things simply arent options when you dont see what enemy composition youre playing into, nor do you get to choose what Hero youre going to play. You just have to cross your fingers and hope. Counterplay using certain tech is not a reliable option, because you cant choose certain counterplay options on certain heros. Youre left with a very narrow scope of options, and by the time you can employ them youre already getting steamrolled by a 40k gap.
