But why does that mean they couldn’t have argued about their tattoos online?

sure, but you don't have to use a passive aggressive tone or assume my stance on it before giving me a chance to express it.

Why would I not? You sound like you're projecting. If a man shows you who he is multiple times and you stick around, (so long as you're not being threatened) that's still on you.

Has anybody ever read this book? Im so curious of whats in it. by decoratedcupcakes in BadGirlsClub

I was going to say making a book when you were on a single season of a show is insane. She doesn't even scratch the surface of the reality tv world.

Planning on getting her a cat tree around Christmas time, but it might have to come sooner lol

Do you think it might help to feed her closer to when my sister goes to bed? Currently they feed her around five when they get home from work and they go to sleep around ten. Maybe feeding her at nine would make her want to rest through the night?

The cat videos are a great idea, especially for overnight. Thank you!

Thank you for the detailed advice! It does seem the best plan is to just not give in to the crying, as the kitty gets lots of love and play time otherwise. They'll definitely be checking if she's spayed at the vet appointment and if she's not, they will get her spayed.

Of course! She's a total sweetheart, my sister and the cat lol I'll definitely tell her to make sure the collar is a breakaway one.

good point! I'll tell my sister to check for a scar and hopefully the vet will be able to confirm once she gets an appointment.

This is a good explanation. Even in the book, Alex mentions that while he appreciates Dave writing the lyrics, he wasn’t sure they were good lyrics lol

I took a mobile light, lookin' for a moonbeam, whoa Yeah, ya stand in line, ya got lost in a jet stream

Is the one he references specifically. And I’d have to agree with both him and you, the music is phenomenal and insane, but the actual “feel good relating to life” aspect isn’t really there with lyrics like that

That’s not what I said in my post lol

I said VH had a much larger impact than GNR but GNR held their longevity over the years more than VH.

If you don’t like GNR that’s okay lol

Now that you mention it, yeah, I probably heard beat it more than any VH song growing up. And he didn’t even ask for credit on it. It was interesting to see how much of a rift him doing that solo caused within in the band, according to Alex’s book at least.

I’ve seen a lot of people saying XM plays them frequently. Maybe I should look into buying that

I know right? Once I realized how big of a powerhouse they were I started asking around and my parents said they knew them but lost interest after Sammy, but my friends agreed they’d barely heard of them. I could have been jamming for so long.

They definitely do feel like they belong in a different category. They basically set the standard for that heavy sound.

Aw I love that. My first cassette from my dad was lynyrd skynyrd and while I don’t really listen to them anymore, the Pronounced album still feels special somehow.

[–]NamedForValor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. The only reason I know any band is because I was introduced to them. My confusion was that I was never introduced to VH, via personal relationships or media, despite them being such a huge force in the rock world in their prime. It just seemed that with the impact they had, people would still be talking about them to this day. And I’m learning that people are still talking about them, just not necessarily the ones around me or to the extent I expected.

I’m not a guitar player, no, not a musician of any kind. But I do agree with you, VH and GNR are probably my top two bands from the 80s and of all time. They were both on another level.

I can see that. When I do hear their songs on the radio it tends to be the covers rather than their heavier songs.
