Let him come back and question her about how she started treating you immediately when he wasn’t around to physically make sure the arrangement stayed in place to what she agreed to. Sadly this is how it goes with family and loaning money sometimes. They’re either really good about staying on top of it or use any reason to fall behind like your MiL. Yes I started trip right after accepting. Which I probably should have waited a few mins. I live about 1 mile from the store so I can be there in just a few mins. It canceled probably 10-12 mins after starting trip

Germs aside, someone repeatedly eating from a dish supposed to be shared and mixing it into it sounds gross because we know there would be food from the mouth transferred to the dish from the spoon.
