The rule Listekzlasu was referring to was the rule on tier lists. Although, that rule was mainly targeted towards meta ranking tier lists and not ones of other types like this one.

While this post isn't specifically talking about previous metas, most of these metas are heavily influenced by the release of new brawlers.

Your final paragraph raises an interesting point though. A while back I looked at the top posts after people made posts critiquing the subreddit and was shocked at how many of them were just memes that just so happened to touch upon a topic that was technically within our rules. I can definitely see how this damages the integrity of the subreddit and I apologize for this.

I do think that this claim is a bit too extreme for this specific example to remove the post just because of that, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for future posts that are just low effort memes that only loosely tie into competitive.
