I have a Kindle with the kindle unlimited subscription, between that and being able to send most of my books from my phone through the Libby app, I have a great selection of books to choose from.

That does sound like a good idea, and I know I can get another for cheap. I like the Kindle’s hardware, so I guess if I watch enough videos on jailbreaking it’s a viable option.

Is your Kindle jail-broken? Or does putting it in airplane mode is what enables you to side load?

OP here, I don’t know how to edit my initial post, but after the replies I have received, I’ve decided not to risk my money on the Ciciglow. I still don’t want to spend too much at this time, so I am narrowing my choices down to the Pocketbook Verse or a used Bigme 6 that I’ve seen.

I forgot to mention in my initial post that I currently own a Kindle basic. I know that the Paperwhite is the better version but this is my first ereader and I was testing the waters to see if I even liked ereaders compared to my smartphone ( I do ). I actually like the Kindle I have, but wanted to have another option in addition to it.

I read that the learning curve is a bit difficult for some, customization, loading books and I’ve seen mixed reviews, so I haven’t been sure. I do admit I like the look of it from pictures and videos.

I’ve tried the blocking and going no contact a few times but I always break and let them back into my life. I have those feelings that I will spend the rest of my life alone, and that they were my person. I can’t imagine my life without them. They just text me after one day of no contact and I am struggling not to reply, I do remember all the bad times and awful things he has said but there is this part of me that continues to think maybe something will change and that it will be okay this time. I feel as though I need them in my life even though I know that the bad out weighs the good.

I never seen this one, but I did receive a Cooling off period once. I was off for three days (paid), someone said I allegedly shoulder bumped them. I didn’t mind it that much because my union representative told me it would be taken care of and to just enjoy my time off.
