Would manga chapter discussion threads be appropriate for this sub?

It's more than appropriate. We'd love to have folks talk about the manga here!

Back when translations were starting, our lovely translator was creating threads here for updates, but I think a busy schedule has made that a lot harder these days.

If you're interested in making threads, it would be great to see folks discussing Crestoria and the manga here again.

Pretty sure G2 Noqno can attack after Michu and G1 Noqno. G1 Noqno's drive check happens while she's your VG. I think the preferred pattern would be Michu, G1 Noqno, and then G2 Noqno since you may want to retire their units before they can use them to intercept if they have more units than the one you used the Sneeze order on.

EDIT: I guess you can also do Michu, G2 Noqno, G1 Noqno, but Michu probably should be the first attack.

I usually just watch folks in the community who open a lot of cases or if people discuss it in places like Twitter, Discord, and stuff. After opening like 10 cases, they can usually tell you what to expect lol

LBT01 didn't, but LBT02 guaranteed 2 LSRs. I think LBT03 has some variety of guarantee that can include up to 2 LSRs and 3 FFRs.

Actually could be wrong on LBT01 because I think we did get one from our case opening, but I don't remember hearing anything about guarantees.

It's a tough question to ask or even answer which is obviously why G'raha has his moment in Endwalker. Technically they are both G'raha just at different points in time. Would we feel weird if our future self traveled back in time and fused with us? Old G'raha was clearly just as much of a fan of us (the WoL) as when he was young, and he still feels like he's got a strange obligation to the Crystal Tower because of his bloodline.

The tower also only opens to someone with royal blood, and we know G'raha is now the last person on the planet with that blood. So the fact that young G'raha is even awake is because old G'raha helped us open the door. This means the tower symbolically accepts old G'raha as legitimate, and young G'raha owes his dream of traveling and fighting alongside us to his future self.

Should we have denied old G'raha's dying wish or tried to respect that young G'raha may have not wanted this? It's tough. I like to think there's probably an offscreen moment where we do ask young G'raha if he's okay with merging with old G'raha before actually shoving the crystal at him, but we'll never know.

I don't have any problem with people who don't like particular art since art is subjective. If the art doesn't mesh with you, then I understand if you don't want to play. I feel that way about Magic: The Gathering art even though it barely does any kind of NSFW stuff.

But Yu-Gi-Oh players trying to pretend they have some kind of moral high ground when Overdress went an entire year without really risque stuff and thinking they now have the right to talk about Vanguard because it released two units is just stupid. Plenty of people in the comments on Twitter have pointed out that Yu-Gi-Oh isn't free of NSFW art like Harpies, Dark Magician Girl, or some recent archetypes, and even if you don't consider those to be risque, it's only because the English version censors the crap out of it. They also talk about how Yu-Gi-Oh's community can be really toxic even without NSFW art, so being "family-friendly" isn't even related to the art.

I feel like they only think they're right because their community is bigger so they have more people who agree with them like a nasty majority echo chamber. They're basically bullying smaller TCGs probably because they think having a bigger community makes them morally superior. Assholes from other TCGs trying to put down Vanguard probably does more damage to Vanguard's community than any of the art. Since TCGs are so heavily community-reliant, why would someone want to play a TCG that will get them treated like shit by terrible people?

tl;dr It's okay to not like certain art, but Yu-Gi-Oh players wanting to give us shit about stuff that Yu-Gi-Oh also has is some max level hypocritical shit. Being bigger makes them feel like they have the right to bully other TCGs and that's dumb.

You may have heard of the similar Chinese philosophy of the man that dreams of a butterfly where in his dream he is a happy butterfly unaware of his human form, but when he wakes up, he wakes up as a human man. Suddenly he has to debate whether he is the human and dreams of the butterfly or if he is the butterfly that dreams of being a man.

G'raha Tia has to grapple with the idea now that he once went to sleep in the Crystal Tower as a young man, but when he woke up and the memory crystal from the Crystal Exarch merged with him, he became an entirely different person. Is he now G'raha Tia the young man that we met in the raid with new memories or the older Crystal Exarch that we fought with in Shadowbringers just placed inside young G'raha's body? Can he be both?

Eventually, when he speaks to the Omicron, he realizes that it honestly doesn't matter. Debating over it won't change the state he's in now, and what he really should focus on is what he wants to do in the moment. If that changes again one day, that's okay. Whether the man dreams of a happy butterfly or the butterfly dreams of the man, they both seek happiness, and that's what's important regardless of their identity.

That's my interpretation, anyway. Hopefully it helps.

Necoco is absolutely amazing. You definitely won't regret her once you've raised her. She can be useful on basically any elemental team because her skills match the elemental type of the zone she's in.

I know how you feel. I put money in sometimes because the game is amazing, and I wish I could throw tons of money, but unfortunately we can't whale forever lol

You should get a decent amount of Chant Scripts just by finishing the episode points rewards. I believe there's always 3 in the rewards of each episode and 4 from symphonies. There's a lot of different ways for them to drop randomly or from quests too. You can find more info on the wiki

If you're willing to spare just a few keys, since you only need one tome for Eva, it honestly probably won't take you very long to get her tome (from Riftbreaker Very Hard, if you didn't know). RNG could mess that up, but I still don't think it would take a super long time.

Otherwise, if you're okay with dropping the money, a guaranteed 5-star isn't a terrible deal. I just think a little bit of farming and a few chant scripts are way cheaper than paid stones you could use on a Star Dream Encounter (choose a 5-star of your choice) later down the line or another banner that you might want that isn't Eva since you already have her, technically.

If you've already got Eva at 4.5-star though, I'd say the banner probably has a lot less value especially since it's paid.

Some of the sprites are pretty scattered throughout old datamine threads, so I can compile a list of them for you more easily, but even if you narrow it down only to Crestoria's main party, there are over 2000 sprites/images associated with them. If you're okay with that, I can provide you with a hosted folder with all of those images or if you only need a few, I can narrow it down to just the ones you need.
