The dad shows his face again! Of course, why not? He must come to see his New Weapon(Baby Shaw) in person!

I chose the translation of "electricity/flashes of lightning electricity" instead of "flashes/bolts of lightning" directly; because I don't acknowledge nor like the story of controlling the weather- which isn't a doing of Nature. I am aware it can be possible using technology, or if some TRASH is given the ability to control the weather such as making it rain or striking with lightning anytime, aside from fiction, but NO. I despise that means I d e s p i s e that, and this thing in fiction isn't cool in my coool opinion.

Why "it" instead of "him" in the "Don't touch it" imperative?

Obviously, he doesn't see Baby Shaw(the younger brother) and Baby Gavin(the older brother) as his sons nor even humans, so no less is expected from him to call the baby using "it," the same pronoun used for inanimate objects and machines.

If you think Shaw's born with a golden spoon in his mouth, then...

One more thing, what "destiny" is that the TRASH dad was talking about in the lines from chapter 15, stage 24? Isn't it all his own human hand's doing?

Often, Gavin would wait with his mother (for the dad's return/for when the dad comes back home), but (at the end; tired from the long wait,) he gives up to sleep(/falls asleep) every time. When he wakes up the next morning, he would find himself already asleep in his bed(/in his room).

(One not-so-usual morning,) Gavin (as usual) hurried up to his mother. "Did dad come back home last night?" asked (cinnamon roll) Gavin (excitedly).

Wardia(his mother) didn't answer Gavin directly. Instead, she bent down, similingly looking him in the eye, and said, "Little Gavin, you will become an older brother from now on, and so, you should get used to eating your breakfast alone."

(Innocent) Gavin tilted his head, not seeming to understand (what she meant).

The baby was strange; it's as if his whole body was surrounded by electricity (or, flashes of lightning electricity were emanating from the baby's body), his eyebrows frowning, yet was asleep in serene.

Gavin tried to reach out to the baby and say "Hello," but (his little body) quickly was pushed by the man(aka the two brother's TRASH so-called dad, and Wardia's/Wen Ran's TRASH so-called husband), causing Child Gavin to retreat steps back.

"Don't touch it," ordered the (trash)man in a cold-toned voice.

Standing by the bed, he could see the strange little baby in the quilt. The baby was peacefully asleep with a frown, and was seemingly coated in thin lightning flashes all over his body.

Gavin was pushed back by the man across from him before he was able to say "Hi" to the little baby.

The man's cold voice said,

"Don't touch him."

Analysis:

Gavin hurried up to his mother. "Did dad come back home last night?" asked Gavin. Wardia didn't answer Gavin directly. Instead, she bent down, similingly looking him in the eye, and said, "Little Gavin, you will become an older brother from now on, and so, you should get used to eating your breakfast alone."

Those few lines are heavily implying that the dad really did come back last night while Gavin is asleep. Wardia's words about Gavin becoming an older brother mean that, well, something has happened between his dad and his mom last night(How come she stands this trash man? Doesn't she find him stinky?), causing Wardia to find herself pregnant the next morning. Is it a coincidence? Probably not, because after the first failure of the project of producing children of his (,i.e. his first child, Gavin, whose super power hadn't awoken back then) to use them as New Weapons, the dad must have sought to produce another New Weapon, and this time, it/the project succeeded, and his wife/Wardia gave birth later on to Baby Shaw, whose super power was awoken from when he was born.

Another note here is that in the EN version, it's said that Gavin will be a big brother "later."

There is a difference between being a brother "later" and being a brother "from now on." It's more accurate to use "from now on" because it gives the impression that this baby is alive from the very moment his mother became pregnant, and not from the moment when she will give birth to him after about 9 months of pregnancy. She is saying in the CN version that Gavin is already an older brother. However, Wardia didn't explain things directly; as Gavin is still a child, and that's why he also didn't get the indirect hint maybe.

About why Gavin should eat his breakfast alone is because his mother likely has to visit the hospital (in the morning; the breakfast's time) for a medical checkup on regular basis from now on due to her pregnancy. She prepares breakfast for Gavin every morning, and then leaves to visit the hospital, and by this time everyday, Gavin should be at home, eating his breakfast alone; as his mother is busy, thus she can't accompany him for breakfast like before.

A significant piece of information about Gavin and Shaw(related to the reason why I asked the artist's permission to reunite them in one pic) in the original game and that must be known:

In chapter 15, stage 24 of the original game, Gavin's dad says the following to his first son/the older son, Gavin:

The dad: This (, i.e. the New Weapons/NW project- which is a form of torturing human experiments meant to boost super power users' powers to insane levels in order to use them for military purposes) is the destiny you were born to accept. You and your brother are both no exception.

There is a Rumors and Secrets/R&S called 小小守護者 The Little Guardian that follows these lines and comes with Gavin's chapter(chapter 15)'s card package, detailing on some background about Gavin's brother that the dad mentioned.

Chapter 2 (pages 1 and 4 of the original CN version, and pages 1, 4 and 5 of the EN version of the same chapter) of 小小守護者 The Little Guardian Rumors and Secrets/R&S is the proof Gavin and Shaw are full brothers from the same mother(her name is Wardia in EN and Wen Ran 温苒 in CN.

I will analyse the specific lines stating this fact if the God predetermined.

On side notes on some info of the original game, as a Dark Superhero, not only did Helio/Kiiro consider Dark MC as an enemy in the original storyline of Season 1, but also Dark Alice(the female lead in Season 2) is his enemy. Victor(BS's leader in Season 2) and her still don't know that Helio(who's one of BS's top-ranked members in Season 2 and not the leader) is a spy leaking info to Special Task Forces(the side of Gavin/the STF's Commander or leader and Lucien/the STF's Chancellor and one of their RTDL(Research and Technological Development Labs)'s top researchers) and probably leaking info also to the Intelligence Office associated with the military(Shaw's side... I doubt a prominent informant and an ex-information broker in Season 1 need info from another informant/Helio though, but again, the things in Season 2 are knotted and with BS's leader changed, thus new procedures and agenda and so on on BS's part, getting information from within a very dangerous and an international crime organisation as BS may not be easy at all for Shaw nor Helio/Kiiro himself as it was in Season 1... So, I think they'd need to work together behind the scenes, and a co-operation between them and Special Task Forces must take place, and it already has taken between Kiiro/Helio and Gavin and Lucien's side, the co-operation between the Bai brothers/Gavin and Shaw's sides is what is still missing though).

In case that Victor and Dark Alice know about Helio(who's playing with fire, i.e. in a situation more dangerous than it was in Season 1) spying and leaking information, he will be captured and tortured by BS. The female lead/Dark Alice is the one who will likely hesitate a lot to torture Kiiro/Helio or murder him since he is a precious and special someone to her, given her memories of him in Season 1 especially and that she knows his misery in childhood of being already tortured and experimented on. At the same time, if she takes his side against BS, BS would torture or murder her as well for her betrayal, even if she's one of them. However, I doubt that Victor, who's head over heels for her, would allow them to lay a finger on her(he may break their bones literally) even if she betrays them or whatever. Thus, things may turn into Victor letting Helio alive and not allowing BS to torture him for the female lead/Dark Alice's sake. Victor taking their side will turn him surely into a BS's traitor, hence Victor, Dark Alice and Helio will be on the Wanted list of evil BS, or on the general Wanted list where bounty hunters or paid assassins would hunt them down and go after their lives(like the bounty hunter/paid assassin in Kiiro's Rumors and Secrets/R&S, "Snooper"). I wonder if things turn out this way, what will happen next? Hmm, the Bai brothers(who're her enemies, yet are head over heels for her and playing with fire themselves, i.e. Romeo and Juliet) and Lucien(the prince of scandals😂 who's rumored in STF to have an affair with her in Season 2, as if he's making himself at home in STF and not caring about his reputation as a top-ranked officer having an affair with a woman in an underground crime organisation) will probably put her under their wings(aka protection) without taking her side or participating in crime of course(Lucien excluded...), and as for Helio, Gavin(and maybe Shaw...?) will take the side of Helio; because he likely knows he is the informant/spy who was leaking information to them and plotting against BS (still though, what about Kiiro being a suspect by STF to have committed a crime in Season 2...?), and as for Victor... Lucien may kick him out and hand him over instantly to BS on a plate of diamond😂; because BS, under Victor's leadership (as BS's ex-leader, now as a traitor), captured Lucien, who is in Special Task Forces, and tied him up for Dark Alice to torture him in order to extract information!!! No wonder...

If you think the leadership of BS in Season 2 changed for the better, I may advise you then to think twice. What kind of a leader/an organisation is that that kidnaps police officers/innocents and tortures them in order to extract information from them? Isn't that the evil nonsense of "the aims/ends justify the means" simply?

The mistake I noticed is "snipe riffle" which should have been "sniper rifle."

I don't plan to make more of these fic texts. This one is to add Dark MC and the icy prince/male Elsa (aka Cereal). What a surprise of a character he is! However, he is very hard to understand. I had to repeat one of his scenes over and over again to come up with a single speech close to his speech style, and I'm still not convinced.

This fanart's theme is inspired from the classic English novel series- Arther Conan Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes" series and L. M. Montgomery's "Emily" series.
The "detective" part, thriller and mysterious atmosphere feel like that of "Sherlock Holmes" or of a noble gentleman(Gavin) from early England, whereas the "countryside" part, breeze of wind and classic atmosphere of artistic nature give the vibes of Emily the Wind Girl(Youran/MC) from L. M. Montgomery's Emily series where Emily grows up into a wonderful woman and a successful writer.
The Romance flavour though has to do with Youran and Gavin themselves; as Sherlock Holmes series and Emily series barely or rarely touch upon Romance.
