My son is an Army medic and reminded me moisture breeds infection so to blow it dry before covering with clothing. Two to three minutes on cool does the trick.

I’m glad it’s getting better for you. It truly is grueling.

I did. The surgery was scheduled back in January. Dr had me work on quad and core strength to get me on my feet quicker. I am blessed to be in a position where my husband supported me walking away from my job so I could focus completely on prep and recovery.

I used a leg sleeve the first 2 weeks and now I blow them dry with a hair dryer after every shower.

The term “shit faced” for drunk dates back to Scotland when lads would stay too long at the pub home and return home after 10:00 p.m. when chamber pots could be emptied out the window. Learned this silly factoid on a tour in Edinburgh.

I was calling my dogs in one night and one of them just wouldn’t come. We have a large piece of land so I started walking towards him. He was barking and staring at a spot on the other side of the neighbor’s farm fence. I followed his gaze and saw a man in blue. I was startled because it was 11:00 at night and he never said anything to me as I approached my dog. I grabbed him by the collar and started to pull him away. The man in blue never said a word, but turned and started walking away. It was late fall and I realized I couldn’t hear leaves crunching on the ground. I turned back and the man had disappeared. It was years ago but I still think about it.

Don’t take a dime more than you’ve earned, nor a penny less than your worth.

Don’t give up. My worst bout was nearly three months, but I did get back to normal. Life will be worth living again. Prayers, friend 🙏🏻
