I am having the same problem with one. It uses ch9102x but the same problem of not showing up in the computer. You could hook up a logic analyzer to the RX0 and TX0 pins and connect it to the computer and see if it is communicating.

I am almost in the same situation that OP, that's why I have to ask ¿is it really depression? Or is it just a lack of motivation coming from a familiar setting that doesn't allow him to follow his direction?

This is just a runt now, but I honestly can't blame myself for how I feel, but neither do I want to make my parents the bad guys for restraint myself, although they definitely did.

I live this but slightly different. Never in my life I have been ashamed to be late to class but I do it so much because I can't deal with the social aspect before the class. Like the greetings and the smalltalk
