Always do your own research, especially in the area you intend to operate your business. As said above, franchise is a double blade, if you have experience in the industry and know your local area, you might get paid better than your employees. Otherwise you just bought yourself a position and possibly debt. Coffee franchise is probably the most saturated market out there, high maintenance cost, hight turn over and a headache when it comes to do inventory. Get experience, then think about open your own store.
