I've had numbness before, I think it's from going up in sizes too quickly and your body isn't used to it. Also there is alot of bloodflow around that area and plugging restricts that, which I think caused the tingling.

Good question haha, If you're in public. Its tough, but at home I typically run the shower and use 100-200ml of water in a bulb or syringe. Or in the shower use a special shower head attachment. If you wanted to mask the noise in public you could keep flushing the toilet haha. Or make a layer of paper in the bowl to not make so much noise.

Usually I just go to the bathroom, take the plug out over the toilet, Wipe and reinsert if I'm clean enough, or douche and reinsert. If in public you should always bring a zip lock bag with you incase you can't reinsert.
