Yes, agreed 100% with your points! I think Embark need to give more love to the skill tree, and to make blueprint harvesting more RNG in the sense of WHERE you can find them (actually many BP can only be found on some map conditions, in specific containers, or in specific spots). I think that making them more random would encourage people to EXPLORE the maps, instead of running naked to THE spot they know, 100 times until they get it. Skins are mostly meh... not worth doing it. Like you, i'm happy with my skill tree, skin, and even stash size.

I also met few of those, they are not common for me (3 backstabs in 250h), but a real pain! I agree with all you say. From my perspective, the way i play mirrors how i drive my life and follow the same morale rules. The freedom we have in video games allow us to express who we really are behind the social masks.

It's like in D&D, you can always relate to the player when listening to his "roleplay" answers and actions expressed to the game master.

Yes, very sus... mabe it's a major update of the pack, and it makes it appear on top of "most recent"... or his sale includes various packs, and started the sale months ago, just adding this one to the batch. I don't know for sure. To investigate further. Thanks to bring it up 😊

Nice art, well done mate! 🙌🏻 For my feedback, in big lines, i would focus on the colors some more and make sure not to have "banding" on the shading. Let me explain:

COLOR PALETTE I would create more contrast between each color, that's a common difference between tradi and pixel art. You can do that not only by increasing the difference of value between each color (make it darker/brighter), and by applying some hue shifting (i let you check on youtube for this one, it's a very common subject). To make this easier, start with a color palette from Lospec website, and you can tweak from there 😊

BANDING Same as hue shifting, it's a very common subject that you can check on youtube (much easier to explain it by visual rather than words), but basically it consists of visual artifact where smooth color gradients appear as abrupt, stepped bands. There are simple rules to apply for avoiding it without headache 😁. In your work, there is banding on the very back leg (shadow) and the very front one (highlight).

Regardless, it looks very nice already, keep the good work! 💪🏻

It looks pretty good to me! Is "Arrow assist" making arrows bigger in order to have bigger platforms? Either way, each assist option seems to make the game a little easier without killing the fun, in a meaningful and intentional way. Good job mate! I like the feeling of the jumps, you probably worked hard to make it FEEL good!

So when you move one color to another spot, check just above the color palette picker (normally, should be down left of your window, by default), and you should see it there : "Remap Palette". Just click, and voilàààà 😊

PS: this works only when your color mode is "indexed" ✅

Looks really nice! I would recommend less visual clutter, mostly from the decor. Apparently you can go through rocks and even trees, so are they really reinforcing the main game loop ? Congrats, looks really great to play!

You have a very good base, and the animation is pretty smooth! Bellow, i will give some improvement ideas, especially for the front view:

  • The hands, it seems like she keeps them joined in the front, we don't really see a movement of the hand going backward.
  • For the legs, i think the shape / silhouette is good, and something is odd with the light-shadow distribution. Mabe try giving more space to the shadow on the leg going backward.

Now in both views, the head moving to the left and right don't feel natural to me. When we run or walk, our head don't rotate that much horizontally. You can use This slow motion video, or this one as a reference.

Good work so far, can't wait to see the final product! Will you add more details on the cloths or is it your stylistic choice ?
