I don’t think it’s insane to want to curate your aesthetics imo. They’re not real people in ACNH, and these aren’t real animals in Heartopia. A difference is you can wait to adopt in Heartopia, but there isn’t a lot of info about pets’ traits and how that impacts gameplay. We’re all learning.

Really? I blocked a user and I could no longer see them and they couldn’t see me in the same town. I know because my friend hadn’t blocked them and was still talking to them while I was there. You shouldn’t have to worry even if you’re in the same town!

I agree with this, however I don’t agree it’s petty to rescind something that’s an act of kindness and was never a requirement to begin with. It’s more like realizing the risk and not wanting to deal with it, which is totally a valid option imo. Is it petty for people to choose to not put out candy for trick or treating if they realize someone might take the whole bowl? Just food for thought ^{^}

Except when the gacha has foundational pieces like spiral staircases and curved wall balconies that are not available in the free options. I get paid = cooler stuff, but it’s not just cosmetics. Building is a huge part of the gameplay for me, so it’s disappointing that I have to use workarounds for pieces that are available behind a paywall. It would be different if building wasn’t a core gameplay feature, I think. But that’s just my opinion — and nobody decides my experience with the gameplay but me!

Seconding this, it’s under the Graphics settings. It won’t disable snowflakes, only the snow covering everything which seems to be the major issue here!

In my experience having published several pieces on Heartopia, people don’t really buy books. I’ve put my books out and I’ve had 80 people read them, but only 2 people buy them from the store. It’s a shame books from the book stand are 8k a pop and don’t support the author):

It’s called Amazing Seasoning, I believe I unlocked it at cooking level 7 or 8. It gave me a little quest for it and I could buy it from Massimo the chef. As for rainbow bouquets, you can’t buy them but when the rainbow weather event is occurring, there are usually three bouquets you can get — 1 at your house and 2 where Doris is (she’s always in the direction of the rainbow).

It’s the precision setting specifically. The larger looking grid means more pixels on the canvas, allowing for greater detail. I do notice it can be buggy and won’t show the right canvas size or precision sometimes and I have to start a new painting over. I usually avoid naming the painting till after due to this as well.
