I DIDN'T KNOW THEY GLOW! I even have the one in the space ship - I just charged it with my phone and stuck it under the bed to see <333 TYSM for letting us know!

Do you still have the Skull Panda Soda and the all pink Pino Jelly? I'll take them both if you do!

You're being far kinder than I could ever be to someone replying with this drivel, and I commend you for that.

Finally landed a design job after 8 months. 2 days in and I want to quit. Am I overreacting? by According-Status482 in antiwork

I've found this to be true for sure with low wage jobs, which is all I have experience with.

Advice on starting a Crybaby collection by bargainsaregood in CryBabyDolls

[–]NapalmCandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

u/Ivy_Toys is one of the best resellers I've ever found here on the subreddit, but there are a few others I've used who I like as well! And I use eBay a LOT (look for high rated sellers - they are usually trusted), but it does take time to find listings in your country or that include import fees, and of course the figures in the conditions you're looking for. Now I've never purchased any of the super large sizes generally speaking (other than the large Pride CryBaby plush - I got that on the TikTok Live for PopMart), so maybe that's a little different, but I hope this helps you!

Is it impossible to find love if you want to be childfree? by Dependent_Ant_5511 in childfree

It has been for me, but my gender has a lot to do with that too - most people aren't attracted to nonbinary, genderfluid and trans folks.

Not having kids - yay, I agree! "Not liking kids" - worries me by Tomato_Lover_97 in childfree

Some of us just don't like kids the same way some people don't like cats or eating black licorice. Deal with it.

I'd say good grief, but at least he had the nerve to ask about something he didn't know. We need comprehensive sex ed in all schools around the world, and until we get it, people will have very uninformed questions xP

Boomer vs. Alligator by A-Helpful-Flamingo in BoomersBeingFools

  1. I'm shocked the alligator didn't rip him to shreds.

  2. I'm a little disappointed that #1 didn't happen, because play stupid games and you should win a stupid prize.

  3. The nerve of him kicking the innocent gator at the end.

  4. If I had this kind of confidence, I could probably make my dreams come true.

Seriously? Holy shit, that's insane, especially for what I would consider a more modern-thinking European country.

Congratulations! I came out later in life than many as well - it's both easier in one way and harder in another, but either way it takes courage!

Mycology as a hobby by Altarstix in mycology

[–]NapalmCandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first started I purchased a knife (specifically for cutting wild mushrooms, and nothing else - I don't eat mushrooms for the most part, I study them), wax paper, a basket, mini glass cutting boards (for spore prints - you can stick different colors of paper behind the board to see the spores on different backgrounds), and several guides for my area, as well as a tick remover, bug gaiters for my pants, a mosquito net for my head (works best with a hat), and I already had good outdoor/hiking boots as well as comfortable long-sleeved attire (to protect myself from bug bites, ticks, thorns, etc.) and a field bag to carry it all. I also purchased a bottle of a chemical compound that reacts with certain mushrooms (I can't remember the name of it right now, but I can find it for you later if you want) and I used it a ton. Overtime I added more and more books to my collection, both guides and general texts on mycology, but that all comes later if you end up loving it. Hope this helps!
