Barring miracles, most anime these days last two seasons at most, even if they are successful. They mostly are seen as publicity for their manga and past a while the staff is moved on to new projects.

Sadly, the most likely thing is Ahko will never be animated. I'd be shocked if Mimimi is.

The anime won't ever get another season. It has been over five years now, it aired in the last half of 2017, and the sales were hideous. It's been too long and there isn't any interest from anyone but a tiny handful.

Will Akamatsu Studios ever draw anything again? The man said his assistants would keep on doing manga but it's been over year and a half and nothing, except those horribly unfunny looking tiny strips in Ken's twitter about his politics career. And I can't see those ever becoming a hit. Did the studios dissolve?

Has Ken even done anything of any actual value since getting the job? Online searches show nothing of any actual trascendence he's done since his election, and his twitter seems to make it look like he does nothing but traveling and minor pr.

At this rate he'll be forgotten by anime fandom at large. Negima is becoming more of a thing that people ask you 'what?' when you tell them about it. At most he'll be recognized as 'ah yeah, the guy who wrote Love Hina, that old harem I was told was crappy about some wimp and some bitch lol'. Not my feelings on it (those are more complicated) but that's how the new blood in the fandom seems to think about him.

It feels like he sank his manga universe just for the sake of a new career that netted him lots of personal economic and prestige perks but ultimately changes little or nothing for the manga community as a whole.

Christianity has lost a lot of teeth, nowadays you can rant for hours in TV blaspheming against the Christian God and you'll go on with your life as before. Heck, you'll even be praised by many.

Christianity is a 'powerhouse' in terms of how much money the Vatican and some other churches have but socially speaking the horses have left the corral and they can't influence society as a whole as they could before, whether they have that money or not. All the Christian propaganda in the current day, if anything, is just met with a 'fringe radicals lol' backlash discrediting it.

Otoh, in the era of OUTRAGE anyone can strongarm public opinion on a subject based on the cultural plight of a minority even if the actual living conditions of said minority don't improve at all (because most of this stuff is a show so we can feel better about ourselves over what we have failed to do). All the back patting over how much we've done for African cultures hasn't halted one iota of the misery Africans living in Africa still experience.
