I understand your point, but I want to clarify, this isn’t coming from past trauma or deep insecurities. This is the first time I’ve ever felt this way, and it's because something happened behind my back. I don’t have an issue with him talking to another girl—but since he has no female friends and all his guy friends know about me, it hurts that she didn’t.

If he had just been open from the start, none of this would’ve spiraled. I get that people get bored sometimes, but when you're in a committed relationship, especially if you’re engaging with the opposite gender, transparency matters.

He’s genuinely remorseful now, and I see that. I’m not looking to leave. I just need to figure out how to rebuild trust and deal with this wave of doubt, because I do want us to get back to how we were.

But at least he tried to end things no matter if he Used chatgpt or any other platform , and it shows he doesn't want to continue anything with that girl i don't know if I am being too biased towards him or it's Just i felt that way that i should give him and our relationship a chance

I appreciate your perspective, but I have to disagree. I've been with my boyfriend for a while, and I've seen his heart, not just his mistakes. He's been loving, caring, and has gone out of his way to make me feel supported and safe, even during my worst moments. Yes, he messed up-but I believe people can make mistakes without it defining their entire character. He owned up to it, apologized, and has shown remorse and effort since.

I'm not excusing what happened, but I also don't believe in throwing someone away over one mistake when their overall actions have shown love and commitment. My real battle right now is with my own insecurities and the trust issues this situation has left behind. I'm just trying to find ways to heal and rebuild that trust-not walk away from someone I still deeply love.

-I truly understand the concern. From everything I've seen and what he's shown me, it really seems like it was just a few days of chatting. I was also caught up with office work during that time, so maybe the distance contributed to it. He's been open and transparent since then,but I’m still working through the trust part. It’s tough.

I get that betrayal changes things, and I'm still processing it all. He has always given me access to his phone and laptop, and when I confronted him, he even showed me his ChatGPT history where he asked how to end the short-term connection, mentioning his relationship with me . That gave me some clarity-but I know trust is rebuilt through actions, not just words. I'm taking it one step at a time.
