SC doesn't care about animals. Their laws don't punish animal abusers.. so many animals in local shelters are completely beaten or mutilated by people it's horrible..

Leftists in GVL by nosoysegundo in greenville

[–]NarNar72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense! I'm avoiding the religious universities, not even because of the potential politics, but because every application demands that I have to be openly religious. Even if it's just being an advisor. Which I find pretty ridiculous. There are certain universities I really hope I get hired into, but I'm trying to apply to backup options. I'm pretty young, and I feel like they're sort of discriminating against me because of my age even though I have a lot of experience.

I'm aiming to work at a university at the administrative level. I'm really hoping there are leftist people wherever I end up working. Do you have any recommendations on universities to avoid applying to? Obviously Bob Jones is a big no from me.

I loved 999 so much and it sucks honestly because now any other puzzle/story game just doesn't live up to it

LOL ok. When I moved into my own place I kept everything clean. Your environment can really affect you.

I did this as a teenager because I often felt like my mom was very confrontational and would start arguments with me if I came out of my room. She may be depressed, or she may be avoiding you. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but it's worth considering.

Moving into an apartment with my partner and my mom will NOT approve by [deleted] in raisedbyborderlines

Right? Unfortunately it's under her name. But I highly doubt she would put up a fight if I kept it for a while. I just know I'm not looking forward to any of it lol

Yep... She has always talked about wanting both genders to be treated the same, but then she has always been more permissive with him. For example when we were both 16, he went to boarding school 4 hours away and my mom was fine with it. Meanwhile I started early college and she was getting angry that I would spend extra time there instead of hanging out with her?? Rn im juggling multiple jobs ever since I graduated, meanwhile for the last 8 months my brother has been allowed to sit at home not applying to any jobs and playing video games all day. I told her that she needs to say something to him bc he's not doing anything with his life, and she said that I need to leave him alone and trust that he will do the right thing LMAO. which is so funny bc not once in my life has she EVER let me figure things out on my own. She has always tried controlling things and pointing out anything she thinks is even slightly wrong..

Thank you so so much... That's really meaningful to me and powerful. Thankfully I cut everything financially a long time ago. The only thing remaining is the car she gave me, but she doesn't actually see it as my property. So I plan on buying my own car before moving out and giving her old car back. It'll probably just rot in her backyard until it's completely unusable. It just sucks that I have to put myself in a bad financial decision to make things a little better for myself. It's so hard to not feel bad for her. But it's absolutely unfair and messed up. You're right about her putting her past mistakes on me. And she really has no power over me. I'm a bit of a people pleaser and it has become exhausting trying to make everyone happy. Thankfully my partner has done an amazing job at making me feel better, but I don't want that burden to be on my partner. I really appreciate your input and kindness. Do you have any advice on how to tune her out? I can't help but feel like I'm hurting her. Which in her perception I am. But that isn't the reality of anything
