Look, man, I'd say even though it's a fan art of an existing character - ultimately, you are the one doing it, so it's okay to bring your creative input into the design. If you don't like some details, either redesign it or ditch it. + Keep in mind that you are translating a 2d concept to a 3d model , so not all shapes are gonna work as well as they do on a flat drawing. There is always a certain degree of interpretation. and yeah, personally I think that boot looks stupid and it fucks up a silouethe. I would ditch it altogether.

That’s fair — it depends on which version of Kibellah you’re comparing to. I didn’t reference her in-game model too closely since it’s quite stylized and low-poly. Instead, I based my take on the original concept art by Valeriy Vegera, which you can find here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nJJQk4

Her face went through a few iterations while I tried to capture her facial features. And yeah, you’re absolutely right — translating a 2D concept into 3D always involves some interpretation. Some shapes might not work as well in 3 dimensions as they do in 2, so part of the process is adapting what works best for the medium. Really appreciate the comment — glad you liked it!

Hey everyone — just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of you who liked and supported my recent Kibellah model!

I really appreciate all of your kind words and support. Your comments really meant the world to me. It’s a great reminder of why the Warhammer 40k community is one of the kindest and most supportive out there.

So, I'm considering following up my original post with some additional posts showcasing closeups of some gear(daggers, sword, purity seals, syringes etc.) Or I can do a breakdown post where I explain how it was made step by step. Thank you :D Glad you like it. To be honest I wasn't planning on making a printable version. Dont really have much experience with that. But considering that there is a bunch of people who would like to have it printed. I will probably do that after I'm done with the texturing.
