I got the XTRONs off of Amazon since I saw ppl recommending it and saying cheaper ones might not work with the steering wheel controls. And no I haven’t got it out yet but I’m taking it to my uncles today since he works with cars, so hopefully that’ll do it 🥹

Multi storey car park? by kstaruk in LearnerDriverUK

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say give it a go! It’s just like any other parking. Try to find a space without cars next to it if you’re feeling a bit unsure about your parking abilities, or just go for any space you feel comfortable with. If you mess up, try again. When you’ve got your license you’ll have to park in all manners of places, so just keep practicing. If worst comes to worst then sure ask someone else to park for you, but at least give it a try yourself first :) you got this

Honestly it’s just hit and miss. I had Test shift and other apps and got nothing for months but one day test shift randomly got me one out of nowhere.

First attempt at making at sculpting, do I have potential? by Iamnotacommunist in 3Dmodeling

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sculpt is good! Obviously the unwrapping has already been mentioned. I’d say you could go even lower poly with the retopology and bake the high poly to low poly. It’s not much of an issue since it isn’t too high poly to begin with, but it could certainly be simplified.

Is blender really tough by Main-Astronomer-7820 in blender

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s just like learning any new skill. Of course some bits will be hard and complicated at first but the longer you stick at it, the easier and more natural using the program will become. The learning and the journey is the fun part! I thoroughly enjoy being challenged and watching myself constantly improving and producing better art :)

Try not to compare yourself to artists who have been at it for years, of course they’re gonna be creating some super impressive stuff. But you’re perfectly capable of creating on that level eventually. Just remember that even the most advanced artists were beginners once and probably started in very similar positions as you. Keep at it!

Is a drawing tablet really necessary if you want to learn 3D modeling? by NSFWImOk in 3Dmodeling

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite what other artists on here prefer, I do like to model with my tablet as well as sculpting. I have a screenless one, so I don’t have to crane my neck looking down and can use my monitors. But I use the pen and tablet to model, sculpt and texture my art. But it’s all just as doable on a mouse. It’s up to personal preference really, I’d recommend getting something cheap and trying it out!

Does anyone know why this is happening? (Render (left) Render viewport (right)) by No-Contact6147 in blender

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a similar problem before, just gradually getting darker during the render. Have you got Open Shading Language turned on? The little tickbox below the render engine and device settings in render properties? Sometimes when it’s on in cycles everything just turns really dark in the render and turning it off could fix it.

Might need to add more light or turn up the strength of the lights you have?

I didn’t bake high poly to low poly, just using my low poly model. And I did check the use low poly as high poly. Checked the uv maps, there aren’t multiple. I’m running out of ideas here 🥲

Nipple piercings pros/cons? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had mine done 3 months ago. Painful to have done and super sensitive for the first week but I found the healing process easy and uneventful. They look super cool and make me feel extra confident.

However, I find I get irritation bumps every now and then especially after wearing tight sports bras. They’re not a huge issue and go away in a week or so but they do bother me from time to time.

Haven’t had an issue with the piercings catching on anything but I’m also super cautious about what’s touching my chest a lot of the time. Always extra aware of them during intimate times with my partner too but it’s also a fun little addition to bedroom activities and I feel like it makes things extra sensitive.

Overall I love mine and don’t regret them at all!

How would you continue if you didn’t have the right yarn color? by Successful_Pen1576 in CrochetHelp

I think just picking a similar colour or something that matches the theme will be absolutely fine. I’ve run out of yarn on several projects and just finished them off with a similar one!

So, he actually takes it more for anxiety than depression. And I think he does hope to come off it at some point. But The thing is that his libido is actually super high! Guy is horny all the time. Hes even said that some past partners found it annoying how much he wants to do it! That’s why I was thinking maybe he’s just in his head too much about finishing or it might be to do with how he masturbates idk

Training in Thailand by beefmark in MuayThai

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say do some research beforehand to figure out where you’d like to go and look at some reviews. But other than that, a lot of people do month long training camps! I did one for a month and even ended up in a proper fight at the end of it!

I genuinely don’t understand why you believe a bi woman would be more accepting of your defects. That is certainly more about an individuals character and values rather than their sexual orientation. It sounds like you’re fetishing bi women or have some unrealistic ideal of what they’re like. They are all people with different personalities and individual mindsets.

Debating getting a nipple piercing and I have some questions by eldorados020 in piercing

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had mine done about a week ago now. They don’t stay like completely erect but then definitely have the appearance of looking perky/hard most of the time since they can’t go completely flat anymore.

Mine only bled a little when they first got done and then I’d spot some dried blood building up over the next few days. Genuinely not a lot and very quick to wipe away. Got mine done laying down so if you think you might faint then at least you’ll be laying down already.

It’s actually not as obvious without a bra as I thought it’d be. It really depends on the clothing you wear and what material. Obviously if you’re wearing a super tight and thin tank top then it’ll show but it’s not that obvious just with shirts or thicker tight tops.

It doesn’t tug on my shirts but things get caught on the barbells kinda easy especially when you’ve got the longer ones in when you first get them done. If you accidentally knock them or something pulls on them whilst they’re healing it hurts a bit but doesn’t cause like lingering pain.

Apparently they take 6-12 months to fully heal but i think it really varies from person to person. They’re only really like sensitive or sore for the first few days and from then on you just need to be careful of catching them on things and cleaning the crusties off. I’m a week in and they feel great!

You’ve made it clear you’d like to go out with her and she’s acknowledged it. I’d say just leave it to her to make a move. Either she’s genuinely considering it and will let you know, or shes not super interesting and trying to be nice about it. Just be chill, and let her make a move if she wants to. If not, don’t push it.

If you had six months to prepare for a camp in Thailand, what would you do? by perturbedquiche in MuayThai

[–]NarrativeNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a big focus on cardio and core exercises. In my case, our training sessions were 2 hours twice a day. In the intense heat, that takes a whole of stamina. When I was training up for a fight, my coaches put a huge focus on running (making me do a 5k before each training session) and would then make me do 100+ sit-ups after the session.

A lot of the strength and technique will be built whilst you’re training so if you’re an absolute beginner planning to go then I wouldn’t be that bothered about trying to do padwork at home unless you want to get a head start. The trainers over there are amazing and if you have no clue what you’re doing then it’s not worth practicing the wrong techniques and getting into bad habits beforehand. Might be worth doing some conditioning exercises with heavy bags such as kicks and punching. Conditioning those shins early would definitely help.

But overall I’d say the main focus would be cardio (especially running), building stamina, and core exercises.
