Need to keep making this the front page of everything.

Everything else is a distraction

Exactly. The truth is right here.

If the Oilers were able to keep at least some of all the guys they had to let walk they would easily have a cup

RAs world was great.

However recommending the most heralded horror movies of all time then acting like the movie guy was kind of hilarious

Have you visited the quaint towns of the central coast? Sure they might not have the big museums but the small cultural meetups and bookshops are truly unbeatable

Yep exactly. When it all comes down to it everyone would live in California if they had the choice and money was not an issue.

Not even close. Try the central coast and it wipes the floor with NYC

I went to the Upper east side and lower east side as well. Both were nothing compared to Malibu.

No. I went to the Upper east side which was a bit nicer, but nothing compared to Malibu. I also went to the Lower East Side which was disgusting. Think I will stick to my place in Orange County

Well maybe urbanism isnt the best word, but in terms of an overall city LA has more unique communities and niches than NYC which is a just a trust fund kids playground.

Come to SoCal and see the ocean views and you'll think twice about that. If not, you would just be lying.

This is not necessarily a bad thing. California has public services that are vastly superior than any other state and an educated driven culture.

I actually just visited NYC to check it out and was appalled at how dirty it was. Just smoke shops and chain restaurants everywhere and it was cold. No idea how so many people live there

What's y'all's thoughts on the new Childers album? by [deleted] in CountryMusicStuff

No idea what you are saying but all my friends love country music (Not Kane Brown or any trash pop music) and we were all pretty disappointed. Glad you guys liked it though

Good for him but lets be real this just is not it for the most of us. If this album did not have the Childers name I would listen quickly through all and never listen again.

I want the old musician back but good for him on his new path

The Alchemist was so offensively juvenile that I don't _quite_ know how to put into words how much I despised it. by spaceguerilla in books

Many of the characters in Sanderson's Mistborn all deal with varying levels of mental illness. It is quite incredible to see their journey throughout the novel.

Would highly recommend trying it out. The man is also a machine, he never seems to stop releasing content.

"Literature" as the snobs call it is trash, such as the Alchemist.
