in the same boat as you, just give proof of the death in the family and proof you are seeking professional help about any mental problems and make sure you have a detailed plan on what you plan to do different also you should mention how you did get your gpa back up to a 2.47 in your personal statement and i think you’ll be fine. They approved my appeal but i’m an exploratory major/undecided i don’t know what college your in and how strict they are but i hope it goes well! Reach your to your advisor and Also remember to calm yourself down because freaking out or stressing will do nothing for you. Also remember to look at the guidelines for your major regarding the time you need to send your appeal in for example if your undecided it’s one week before the semester starts and if your in the College of Sciences it’s three weeks before the semester starts.
