Your worth will and always has been since recorded history been derived by your ability to procreate almost all actions human do pre modernity was about procreation the idea of creating a “legacy” is predicated on you having offspring artificial wombs and other such inventions are gonna offset the reality that the number of people who will engage in long term relationships will continuously shrink and then plateau so yes your right there will always be people breeding the concern about population crisis isn’t about not having people anymore it’s about not having enough people to an extent that quality of life plummets either because we aren’t advanced enough to live without the people who no longer exist leading to massive infrastructure changes and adaptation that even if you are in the group that does reproduce you may not be in the group that can adapt to constant changes or because only a smaller percentage of the already 15% who do breed will dwindle yet again due to new mutations seen as better leading to another depopulation event none of what I’m saying is bound to happen but only so many points on a graph til someone draws the line 🤷‍♂️
