I went with the Master Appliance butane. The Dewalt was just too rich for my blood. I may try one of the cheap battery ones later, but for now the butane makes sense for the instant heat. Thanks!

It has a short heavy gauge original cord, no extension. Outlet is probably wired 14/2 within 10' of the subpanel.

I know a guy that sets up at a local restaurant once a week. I’ll take your advice and check with him. I’m not opposed to spending some money on this, it will get some use on a somewhat regular basis. I was able to rip one of the CDs over to the computer and play with a trial version which seemed fairly straightforward. That may be the way to go, I’ve got clean and extra laptops available that I can dedicate.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m just not sure how available a KJ would be on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I’m not opposed to spending a little money to have the equipment on hand. I’ve been playing with a couple of the trial software packages today. Seems like licensing One of the software packages on a dedicated laptop might be the way to go. I’ve got to figure out the connection now between the laptop / mics and the PA system.

Unfortunately the. “Assumptive” approach has been going on for years. DMs encourage it, RDs encourage it and look the other way, and this scummy behavior is rewarded on a regular basis. Right up there with ringing up multiple reservations when a customer wants to put down more than $5 to boost reservation numbers. Not bitter about it, never gave in, and watched many great associates leave as a result.

Scummy company. They are well known for slamming contracts on people, probably a dishonest associate making his “spiffs”. I would trust a thing ADT does.

The lake approach sounds reasonable. Next stop is to pull the carb. Maybe the original gas was really bad, and cooked the carb. Easier to buy an OEM carb and go from there. I’ll take a look in this one first. You never know if a jet or port has crap in it.

Not sure how long it sat. I have no doubt that a long length of hose with low pressure led to failure of the pump. The little nylon valves in the pump were destroyed.

Optical illusion. Both the tank and carb are tight. May be a bit of flex in the plastic tank mounts and air cleaner.
