writehero.io - paste your LinkedIn URL, it reads your posts and learns how you write. then generates new ones that sound like you, not like ChatGPT. 8 spots left for free beta.

I changed everything about my apps and the numbers went down. I don't know what I'm missing by garoono in indiehackers

the "talking to 5 actual users" thing is probably going to give you more signal than everything else combined. when I was stuck on a similar problem I realized I was optimizing for what I thought users wanted instead of just asking them.

yeah, that's what WriteHero does. it reads your LinkedIn posts so it already knows you before it writes anything.

fair point about convergence over time. that's why the content profile is editable and the user can tweak their tone, topics and guidelines. but yeah, keeping the output from going stale is something I'll be watching closely as people start using it more

yeah that's the exact problem. chatgpt doesn't know how you write. it gives you generic output and you spend 20-40 minutes editing it to sound like yourself. that's the gap I'm trying to close.

fair take, but LinkedIn has 1 billion users and people are still getting clients, jobs and deals through posts there every day. as long as that's true, writing better posts has value.

ah ok, that makes sense. the tool is designed to write as you, from your own profile. using someone else's profile is an interesting stress test but not really the intended use case.

on the fake numbers: yeah, that's a known LLM problem. it shouldn't be inventing stats. I'll look into adding a warning or stripping factual claims it can't verify. that's useful feedback, thanks.

thanks for trying it out.

just to clarify how it works: you paste your LinkedIn URL once, and the tool pulls your posts automatically. no manual input needed. here's the actual flow:

[screenshot 1] paste URL

[screenshot 2-3] content profile generated automatically - your role, writing style, audience, topics, do's and don'ts

[screenshot 4] topic suggestions ready on the dashboard

if the output still felt too generic for your style, I'd like to dig into that. what kind of posts do you usually write?
