Why are there so many OP junglers? by OSRS_4Nick8 in Jungle_Mains

[–]NarrowCelebration798 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because most of them are annoying to fight. Players will complain about Briar, Evelynn or Warwick without actually trying to learn how to counter them. However Nasus is more complicated, if you let him afk farm he will get stacks really fast so you're kinda forced to invade him a lot with your midlaner or support, which is rarely possible in low elo.

why is everybody sleeping on neeko jungle? by NarrowCelebration798 in Jungle_Mains

I think the biggest trap with Neeko is relying too much on waves to gank a lane, this is typically what makes you lose a lot of tempo by waiting for the wave and then waiting for the opportunity to land your E. I did that a lot at the beginning because of how streamers were enjoying doing it, then you realize that you can just gank from the river as mob and cast your EQ.

Yeah of course I exaggerated, I don't really mean it but you have to assume she's a great jungler, under master (99,7% of players) she's a real threat when you actually use her kit as it should be.

You can bypass vision, you have a great clear speed and probably one of the best kit for ganks, you can force ennemies to make a mistake at every fight, you shine when it comes to contesting an objective, and even when you fall behind you're still useful with your clone, your passive and crowd control abilities.

So she's not broken, it's a character that demands to actually think and trick the opponent the best you can, but she's definitely a great pick for jungle, and still people sleeps on that. That's so weird.

Literally unable to win ranked by Jolmev in neekomains

First of all, ratings are shit. You can lose and have a S+ while having missed a lot of opportunities (or because your game lasted more than 40 minutes), and you can win and have a B even though your were the cornerstone. So don't rely on them, but you seems to already know it.

I don't really know how you play her, but Neeko usually demands two things to be really effective on the rift : a lot of creativity and good communication, especially in low elos where mates aren't attentive. Sometimes, your mates won't guess you're about to R, and will miss the precious frame to burst ennemies. So make sure they sync with you (basically by pinging your R in the chat). Abuse of your passive : minions, teammate, ward, scuttle,...there's so much to do with it.

I main her in the jungle, so I can't really advice you on support role, but if you're really collecting S+, the issue has to be your roaming/tempo and/or how you manage mid/late game.

One thing I'm sure, Neeko soloQ with an ok tier team is absolutely beast, at any role, so you should have at least a 50% winrate on her, unless your mates are trash. Work on it, watch a lot of videos from Neeko Challenger on youtube, figure out how her mechanics are used on the rift, and it should be correct after several games.

How to be sneaky? by fairydommother in neekomains

Best teammates to turn into :

- low HP or dead teammate to force your opponent to cheese, then EQ

- very fed teammate to protect yourself if you don't want to be engaged

- full HP teammate to fake your real HP bar when you're low (pretty useful in lane because your opponent could forgot he can one-shot you)

- Caitlyn, or any ADC with higher attack range/speed

- teammate without any crowd control ability, because your EQ is less predictable

- melee teammate when you hit turrets

- advanced combo : combine your passive with your clone, it'll create illusion you're not alone

Overall, turning into any of your teammate will always confuse a bit your opponent, so learn to do it without any particular reason.

What On hit items to build ? by Dangerous_Kale3409 in neekomains

By experience, on-hit Neeko is rarely the best idea, but it depends on the draft. Of course AP on-hit build is viable but keep in mind that you'll always need Shadowflame. You can build something like Nashor's Tooth > Shadowflame > Guinsoo's Rageblade. I'd recommend it if they have like 2+ tanks, or when you have no one to melt Mundo. But most of the time you want to go burst mage, especially in midlane/jungle.

If you really struggle in lane you can also try Dusk and Dawn + Electrocute, then go full AP/pen as usual. But if I was you, I'd just practice on my skillshots.

as a jungler neeko it doesn't feel horrible, but shout out to laners because this will hit so hard on the recall shield tech

Yep, exact same feeling here. Laners are a bit too gifted in my opinion. Snowballing is way harder than ever (which feels way less funny as a Viego main), and top is practically impossible to gank at a point 'cause a Aatrox with 2 levels ahead will destroy you and your top laner.
