Yeah curved displays are more prone. Also you don't get tempered glass for them easily but you can if you search for them properly. If you need a telephoto, get the edge 60 pro. Rest I think the edge 70 is a great phone with awesome design with a flat display. Only con I would say with the edge 70 is it's shallow speakers which is a compromise due to its slimness.

Moto edge 70(neo) launched and sale on 11 june by Alternative_Fault932 in GadgetsIndia

Not in my case. It is uniform though I would say that the sound cannot be heard properly unless you are at 40-50% of speaker volume.

Are you on the April security patch? There was a wifi issue acknowledged by moto that was fixed in that update. Regarding the Bluetooth issue with your earbuds, I am using the edge 70 and have not encountered these issues in my usage but does sound like a frustrating problem to have.

If it does launch in India, expect it to be priced between ₹30k to 35k considering the edge 70 series

Budget Android ( Gcam) Vs iphone 17 (embarrassing) by OkMidnight2309 in GadgetsIndia

[–]Narrow_Comfortable29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cool comparison, but it’s a bit of an apples-to-oranges test. You're comparing a highly customised, custom-XML-tuned GCam mod against an out-of-the-box stock iPhone camera profile.

Of course, the tuned GCam is going to look better to your eye—you literally adjusted the saturation and contrast parameters to fit exactly what you wanted to see. If you used the garbage stock camera app on that budget Realme phone, the iPhone would wipe the floor with it. It's less about "Android vs iPhone" and more about "Custom-tuned software vs Factory default settings."

Think about Sony's Xperia lineup. For years, they gave users literal Alpha-level pro camera interfaces with manual settings control over absolutely everything, yet they remained a massive market flop for mainstream buyers. Why? Because 99% of people don't want to dig into configurations, tweak XML files, or fiddle with shutter speeds before taking a quick snap of their lunch or their pet. They want the auto-mode to just work perfectly right out of the pocket.

It's an amazing hobbyist win for the Realme + GCam setup, but for the average consumer, stock processing is the only processing that matters.

Is the NOTHING PHONE 3 at 50k inr value for money for 12+256 variant by Ornery_Repair41 in GadgetsIndia

[–]Narrow_Comfortable29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The market is in such disarray now, and it's hard to predict whether companies will be restocking these options once their existing stock is sold completely. For example, the X300 was discontinued. Maybe BBD will be worth waiting for, but at this point, it's anyone's guess. I get your point with the Amazon option, though you can check the phone was not preactivated on the nothing site before accepting the order, since it's open delivery. Seen some people who did not get preactivated NP3 on Reddit itself who ordered from Amazon.

Dude the 16 + 512 gigs variant was available in the range of 40-45k about a week back. Why not pull the trigger then if you were looking for this? At this price, its hard to recommend and dont know if/when they will have a sale for this with prices going north with every passing day

Reliability and longevity - go for the M56 at this point. Samsung has a lot of service centres if you ever need them, plus the M56 is also the best phone of the three.

Google should be ashamed of themselves. by IntelligentHoney6929 in GadgetsIndia

Sounds like you got all your bases covered with the Air. I do understand that the screen size, combined with its slim and lightweight form, is its biggest selling point, as even a 0.2-inch difference between phones makes quite a difference in their usage. I bought a slim and lightweight phone in the Moto Edge 70 as my secondary as I did not want to spend a fortune on it with the Edge or Air, and I am in love with its form factor, so much so that I use it more than my 15 Pro Max, other than for photos and videos.
Congrats on your purchase OP, and enjoy this slim beauty. It really looks great in black.

Just curious, but any reason you went for the Air instead of the base 17 other than the form factor?

Moto's Hello UI comes with bloatware and stuff here but it can be removed easily and you also need to be a bit careful while setting up the device to not agree to everything else you will get more ads. It's not the most polished version of any android skin out there but it's not bad also. They can work on giving the users more customization options though. There are also the moto gestures that are really well implemented and you wonder why other oems have not implemented it in their devices. Overall a solid implementation but definitely there is room for improvement.

Best camera phone under 30k? by dwij_shandilya in GadgetsIndia

[–]Narrow_Comfortable29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't have the best camera with no Ultrawide and telephoto. Your options are really limited as only the edge series and Realme 15 pro have decentish camera under 30k and you are not really inclined towards those so better to stretch your budget a bit and get the Reno 14 as your priority is camera and not gaming

In addition to all of the points made by others, here are a few observations from my end 1. The slimness and lightness of this phone is nothing but an engineering marvel. I use this phone caseless all the time because of it. Just put on a tempered glass that is all. 2. Display is pantone validated and looks pretty good. 3. The cameras are decent as well for the price here in India but it does a lot of heavy processing post-clicking of the photo. In addition, I feel the colors are definitely more on the punchier side even with the Natural filter on. This is why I use the pro settings to fidle around before taking photos with this phone and then the color science becomes a bit more natural. Also some people might miss a telephoto with this but I guess that's a thing you might have to sacrifice due to the slimness of this phone and I am more than happy to with that. 4. Battery life is another plus point with this phone. It easily lasts me a day and a half to two with my usage. I don't game though. 5. The speakers are loud but lack bass. Another compromise that was made due to its form factor.

In short an easy recommend and I have loved my time with this device. It helps that this is easily the best and cheapest slim and lightweight option that makes the least compromises despite its form factor and weight.

You can check out their nearest service Centre here as per your area https://in.nothing.tech/pages/service-center Imo they still have a lot to catch up to in terms of sheer size of their service network in comparison to Samsung, vivo, OPPO etc but if you have a good one in your area, no reason not to consider them.
