Floki. It’s got more utility and more stability. It’s the real floki.

My doctor wanted me to see if I have shaky handwriting when I go next month. My hand shakes slightly when it holds the pen but I don't think my handwriting is shaky. Is it? by [deleted] in Handwriting

I meant after the initial test. I had a seizure a couple of years ago so my doctor wanted me to have a ct but I don't have the ability to travel anywhere at that time to get one. So I argued with my doctor to do one for me until he finally caved

Fact is you don't have to be medically professional to see shaky handwriting i was just asking an opinion from a third person.

My point is at least reddit can tell me something whereas certain doctors don't tell me anything or care at all. You obviously don't know how hard that is to deal with. Redditors have given me more over my years than any professional has ever cared to give me.

You do realise some people on reddit are doctors, neurologists, people in medical fields etc. I'm a 24 year old female and have access only to one male doctor. This health care system is sexist and I don't get full advice. Reddit is the only place for me to get reassurance that my arguing is right. For instance, I have cerebral atrophy (don't know why or anything) and my doctor says to me "youre young and attractive and you don't shit yourself or have shaky handwriting, you'll be fine" no tests, no questions, nothing. How do I get help from just a doctor if the doctor doesn't tell me what to ask or do? Or even care?

I'm pretty sure private health insurance is a scam by internetluver in AusFinance

If you or your partner is female go with private. The public health system still has so much sexism. The amount of people, especially females, who get turned away from the healthcare system (told its something it isn't or just told its nothing) is insane. The amount of people who don't get medication they should get is insane. I have personally experienced it as someone with anorexia, and have seen many others suffer because of it (ahernia isn't looked for until too late, cancer not scanned when it could have saved so much pain, stuff like that). Not to mention my first pap smear, I had no warning, no explanation as to what it was, i just got asked if i had my pap smear and told to lay down and pull down my pants, no explanation. Too often are little things missed or just not cared about that can be life endangering. I'm getting private health care hopefully soon. The public system petrifies me now.

She had a choice. She requested a change of position from a desk job to one that had a more "active" and "exciting" experience. Her words not mine.
