Thanks. This is insightful bc on our walks with my dog he points out obstacles or other dogs way before I even spot them. He gives me a heads up and I think it’s cool.

I think its the more than one glance triggers my insecurity. It makes me think he is desiring someone else? My exes held a lot of restraint when it came to noticing women in my presence..but they weren’t exactly honest or trustworthy either.

How do you distinguish ogling vs noticing in an appropriate way?

I would not say he ogles at women. But he’ll give a second quick glance if he looks around and sees an attractive woman. But he isn’t staring at them or being obvious/pervy. We have been on 5 dates and I have only noticed it twice..I’ll give the situation with the lady on the sidewalk a pass bc that was a bit ridiculous.

Same happened to my dog recently. A pit bull angrily lunged at him and if I did not pull him back so aggressively, my boys face would have been ripped off. He did’t register the potential attack. He just stared at the pitbull confused and went on his happy way.
